Geoff has completed several projects in our home throughout the years including a mudroom, full kitchen renovation and doors. He is excellent when it comes to collaboration and extremely detail oriented. He created a butcher block table, in unusual dimensions, per our requests , delivered it in record time, then monitored its care and delivery every step of the way. During its construction we were in touch on every question and were sent comprehensive stain samples for selection, in the final stages. The finished table was shipped to an isolated ranch in Wyoming: Geoff set up delivery, and transshipment, keeping us thoroughly informed of its travels and made certain all handling was carried out properly. Geoff recently completed a project for our living room - new built-ins (cabinets + shelves) on either side of a fireplace. He was very easy to collaborate with, approached each step with thoughtfulness, and explained / answered all our questions well. His attention to detail and craftmanship are excellent. We contracted with Heirloom Custom Woodworks to create a custom media center. Every time we looked at what was available online or in stores we were disappointed in what was available, as the dimensions, finish, and quality were not to our needs and expectations. Geoff was a pleasure to work with. He listened to what our needs and wants were, and made adjustments along the process. He even delivered the media center to us personally. Heirloom is exceptional! I cannot express how pleased I am with the level of professionalism, quality and service. Everyone who has seen my custom made dining table/kitchen island is in awe of the beauty. It’s definitely a piece of art! From the moment I knew Geoff, I’ve been impressed by his passion for the work he’s been doing, not to mention the diligence throughout the entire process. We started to discuss the ideas, went on shopping the slab together, determined the design, then the rest history. It’s delivered on budget and schedule. Working with Geoff at Heirloom Custom Woodworks was a breeze. After searching for the right table for months, I realized I needed to have a custom table made to match my kitchen island's banquette seat. The size, type of wood, and color were not available in any stores. I was nervous about being able to explain my needs to Geoff correctly but we went over pictures, ideas, and sketches a few times to make sure we got it right. The table is gorgeous and so sturdy. I was nervous about this since it is quite long but it is rock solid. I love it!

Geoff from Heirloom Custom Woodworks built me a custom designed 72" round dining table of rift sawn white oak and an onion base. The table was finished to match a custom hutch I had made and installed during a house remodel. Before hiring Geoff, I shopped everywhere to find the right look for my new remodel and was unable to find a table in 72" round that would work for my new look. Geoff and I went through all the pictures I had gathered and he designed my table by pulling the elements from each idea that I loved. Then he had the table custom finished so that the top was stained to match my new hutch and the base was painted and distressed to match my new dining room chairs. Geoff was so fun to work with and his craftmanship is truly amazing. I loved what he did so much that after the table was installed, I had him make me a custom "lazy susan" for the top of the table. The lazy susan can be removed when not in use or left in place and was finished in the same look as the table base. I have gotten so many comments on the beauty of this table. I'm so thrilled that I hired Geoff to do the job for me!

After a previous kitchen project, we hired Geoff again to build a custom vanity, inset wall cabinet, and refinishing an existing cabinet to match for our primary bathroom. Based on a conversation and a sketch, he was able to take our unconventional ideas and find ways to make them work. We are so pleased with the quality and usability of our new cabinets, and we really enjoyed working with Geoff. The new cabinets are truly the star of the remodeled bathroom and draw compliments from everyone. Geoff was wonderful to work with on our custom table and bench project. He was very responsive, asked good questions, communicated project status timely and built a high quality beautiful table that we love. Geoff's carefully selected the wood planks so that the table top would have beautiful wood grain and minimal seams. He coordinated directly with our upholstery person so that the bench cushions fit perfectly and were done timely. Geoff also coordinated the stain, finishing and delivery of the table and benches so that everything arrived on time and with no dents or scratches. Geoff installed the table legs and top on-site quickly and expertly. Geoff's attention to detail and product quality exceeded our expectations. We highly recommend Geoff for any custom wood furniture project.

I had four antique floor tiles (about 100 years old) which I wanted to use in a small side table. I contacted Geoff at Heirloom to discuss the project and get ideas about how it could be done. Geoff came up with a beautiful design that enhanced the initial idea that I had for the table. I was thinking Arts and Crafts and Geoff used that as inspiration to honor Arts and Crafts, but with a lighter feel. I also wanted to avoid "fixing" the tiles into the table to help preserve them and he accomplished that. The finished project is beautiful! The process of designing was very collaborative and enjoyable. The craftsmanship is outstanding! Thank you for creating a way for these tiles to be enjoyed for another 100 years!
