Years ago, my boyfriend and I mused at the idea of a live edge table, but it just wasn’t in the cards. But after relocating to Oregon a little over a year ago, I stumbled onto Jewell Hardwoods at one of the home design shows. I fell in love with their work but only took home a stump side table. When it was time for our home remodel, I instantly thought of Jewell. And drove my boyfriend out to their shop. We found an amazing maple slab and didn’t turn back. (I also ended up adding a beautiful waterfall walnut bench). Everyone we worked with was great and the work is amazing. We get comments from every guest who comes by and we have no hesitation telling everyone about Jewell Hardwoods.

I spent almost three years looking at natural edge conference tables and could not find what I wanted for a reasonably price. While driving over to Portland, I stopped by Jewell Hardwoods shop and found exactly what I wanted and Tim customized to exactly what we were looking for. I ended up buying two custom tables from Tim and his crew. They were great to work with and they were wonderful all the way to delivery. Tim has some great vision of what is possible with natural wood and creates beautiful works of functional art.

I am so pleased with the quality and workmanship of my "breakfast" table. It's absolutely beautiful. The customer service was excellent and the table was completed in the agreed upon time frame. The staff at Jewell Hardwoods were all great to work with. My first visit i spent almost two hours picking out the wood slab I wanted. They helped me find the perfect piece. I toured the shop where all the magic happens. They put a lot of quality workmanship in every piece they do. The cost of the project was very reasonable. It took just a short time for the table to be finished. It is better than I imagined.

We met Tim at a Home Show and shortly afterwards visited Jewell Hardwoods. Tim worked with us to pick out the wood planks for a dining room table. He was very knowledgeable about all the wood choices and took time to make sure it was just what we wanted. It's so hard to picture what the final product will actually look like, but Tim did an excellent job to assure us it would be beautiful. About 8 weeks later, the table was delivered and it was absolutely beautiful. The craftsmanship is excellent. We love out table. It is the centerpiece of our dining room. We highly recommend Jewell Hardwoods. They really do quality work!

We had a table built by Jewell and they exceeded every expectation and delivered a magnificent 12’ Long black walnut slab with a joint down the middle and a gap for further decorative details and a tempered glass insert. This is a 100% custom table and they covered a details from design thru delivery unbelievably well. I’d highly recommend them and their prices we’re fetter than others for equivalent products. Tim and his crew were great. They spent lots of time with us and even developed a smaller base (table legs) for our smaller project. It came out fabulous! I am a total digital person (IE addicted to my phone) so all my communication was via email which they took a few days to respond to. Best communication for Tim would probably be via phone. Other than that they were still very eager to please and made the whole project enjoyable.

Tim and his team were incredible - both craftsman and well as customer service. We wanted the perfect live edge table for our new home in Bend. My husband was able to pick the slab from Tim's wide selection and design our dream table directly with Tim. This included a complicated glass piece in the middle of our book matched piece. Additionally, Tim and team delivered our table (weighing over 500lbs) up our steep driveway and into our dining room (not an easy task!). The craftsmanship of our table gets compliments every time someone visits our home.

We had Tim & Rachelle build us a table, +/- 48" x 96", 2" thick live edge walnut. We selected the slabs from the website, unfortunately we did not have the time to travel to Oregon, so we did the whole project via phone and e-mail. Our table is fantastic! Everyone who sees it comments on it. For the same money we could have had a mundane mass produced piece from a furniture store, but we have work of art! Made (and grown) in the USA, too. Amazing dining table! Rachelle and Tim must have sent me a dozen slab pics to choose from, telling me the particulars about each. They listened to my comments and kept refining the search. Once we decided on a slab, they kept informed during the process. I couldn't be happier. Our table is beautiful. Thank you both so much!

After looking at several companies that make custom hardwood furniture we chose Jewell Hardwoods to make our dining table, and coffee table. They are very professional and did a fabulous job. From the time we stopped to look at the wood slabs to the delivery and set up we were very impressed. They have a large show room allowing us to see many species, sizes and shapes from which to choose. We are extremely happy with our dining table and coffee table.
