When big box vendor failed to fill our order after 5 weeks, we asked Jonathan Moran to make us customers walnut countertops for our kitchen. The product he made for us in 2 weeks are of such high quality and beauty, I am sorry we happy that the other vendor fell through! Both Jonathan and Mindy were a delight to work with! Woodworking is artwork for the home, it adds life and character too. We recommend Moran Woodworks with no reservations, there style is friendly and professional. My wife and I hired Jonathan Moran Woodworks (JMW) for both renovation case work as well as some custom furniture. Our urban loft is a combination of turn of the century Arts and Crafts (Stickley, Roycroft, Rohlfs), honest raw materials (steel, concrete, cement) and studio movement furniture. JMW crafted a 18 foot black walnut with free edges and butterfly joint case work gallery in the style of George Nakashima. He also designed, created and crafted a studio furniture inspired cheval mirror in the style of Phillip Lloyd Powell. All aspects of his work were unique from inception to production and construction. We could not be happier with the design, the communication and the outcome. True craftsmanship. Honed skill. Head, heart and hand.

Jonathan Moran hand made beautiful cherry cabinets for our kitchen at a very competitive price. He listened to our ideas, made knowledgeable suggestions, finished within our time frame (AND our budget), worked around the inevitable glitches that come with any major remodel. He came back to finish some additional touches in a timely manner. We would HIGHLY recommend Jonathan for his excellent craftsmanship and professionalism!

Jonathan Moran designed and built a custom Black Walnut kitchen for us and we could not be happier. His quality of work was extremely professional. We first saw Jonathan's work at his store in the Pittsburgh Public Market. We have wanted a piece for the entrance of our condo for years and after seeing Jonathan's unique style, we sent him an email with photos of our space and approximate dimensions to see if he could customize a piece for us. As we communicated back and forth to confirm details, he was always prompt to respond and willing to meet any special requests we had. The finished product was even more than we expected! It truly is a show piece in our home. We loved it so much, not long after this piece was delivered, we contacted Jonathan about another item that is in the works. We would highly recommend him are are sure we ourselves will purchase more from him in the future.

We talked to Jonathan about our ideas for a new dining room table & chairs. He listened, took our personal style into consideration & came back with a design we loved. A few weeks later, he delivered a gorgeous finished product. Highly recommended Jonahan!
