Northeast Furniture Studio

Here at NEF Studio we strive to create the finest in handcrafted furniture, cabinetry and concrete counters. We promise to provide our customers with something they will find nowhere else, a project which is custom designed for them and a project, from concept to creation, will always be handmade, always unique. NEF Studio was founded by Matthew Vincent and Chris Gates, two lifelong friends with a passion for woodworking and fine craftsmanship. Both artisans worked separately for years on various commissioned projects. In August of 2006, the two collaborated on a custom New York City kitchen project and NEF Studio was born. NEF began to expand it's offerings and started to develop the core of the business - customization. We discovered that our target audience didn't want off the shelf offerings. Our customers wanted pieces that reflected their own style. Through creative design processes, wood choices, color options and super focused customer attention, we were able to create an unique customer experience behind each piece.
