Paul's ingenuity brought this antique weathervane from my childhood back to life as a display for my library bookshelf. His eye for design, methodical project approach, and easy disposition were a joy to witness. If you want something done right, call Paul.

We asked Paul to design and build an appliance garage that required some engineering and a lot of ingenuity. He first built a prototype to ensure that his design would work. The finished product utilized tracks, counterweights and magnets to raise and lower the nearly 5' door with ease. Paul's work is exceptional and it was a pleasure working with him.

If you want something unique, Paul is your guy! His handmade pieces are truly one of a kind, and last forever. He's created a number of pieces for us, my personal favorite is a desk - it's not "furniture," it's art. We highly recommend Paul....

Paul is a wonderful woodworker! My Dad was an amateur woodworker and built a round, pedestal mahogany table for me many, many years ago. It had great sentimental value but was wobbly as the legs were too thin, Paul replaced the legs, retaining the base and top (disassembling was complicated) . He matched the wood beautifully! It is now functional and sturdy as well as attractive-and the finished design is is even more beautiful than than the plans. Communication was great: he designed the new table, sent drawings and set a reasonable price before he started. Pickup and delivery were efficient and friendly. I'll call Paul any time I need any custom woodworking done!

Paul built a custom barn door for us. It is absolutely beautiful and fits perfectly in the space. After giving him some pictures I found of barn doors we liked, he custom-designed one for our space. Along the way, he asked for feedback and gave us stain samples to view in the space and the light. As an added bonus, he suggested a soft close mechanism that is perfect for our family since our kids frequently open and close the barn door to do their laundry. We will use Paul again for any future custom wood projects!

Paul always turns out great work. I have several pieces of his from furniture to cutting boards and they are all heirloom quality.

Paul Krause has done several custom projects for me, the most extensive one being a custom patio cushion holder made of beautiful wood with a copper top and trim. It turned out beautifully and I get compliments on it all the time. I would hire him again and again for any custom wood project in my home, his work is impeccable.

Paul took on a interesting project for the Community Assistance Center in Atlanta to design and build a fruit and vegetable merchandiser. This had to be highly functional, mobile and easy to maintain. He hit a home run. Not only functional- but great looking. It is the centerpiece of the food pantry and I am certain will be for many years to come.

When I first used Paul Krause for cabinet doors for my daughters bathroom, I thought there was no way his project could turn out as beautiful as the one I imagined. The doors turned out even better. I had an old 1800s door that was beautiful heart pine wood. Paul took it apart and made my doors and drawer that are amazing. But once you find someone who can make your ideas into something better, you come up with new projects: wine rack, kitchen island, master bathroom mirrors, old barn wood valence for shower, knobs out of old barn wood, and matching mirror...and he improves on every idea I give him. He has made carpentry into an art. Not only nice to work with, but also talented, AND affordable. It's almost impossible to get all of those from one shop.

Paul and I have done several projects together. He made two 30 drawer cabinets that turned out to be of museum quality. One is made out of walnut and the other is beach wood. Paul is a true artist with an exceptional feel for detail. It always has been a true pleasure to work with him. His work is truly Old Country German craftsmanship.
