Rugged Country Customs
My husband and I decided in June of 2013 to start a business. We were informed that our son (2 yrs. old at the time) needed open heart surgery. Needless to say we were devastated and our minds were spinning. Why is this happening? Is he going to be ok? Will our jobs be flexible with our time off? How will we pay for this? We both had jobs but it wasn't enough. My husband was very crafty and we decided to start a business making pieces out of re claimed wood. We name this this business "The Pallet Project' The word spread and the business did what it was intended for. We got through Landon's surgery and it was a good distraction before the "big day" to keep our minds busy. Landon recovered very quickly and is doing great! Soon after we welcomed baby Emily to our family. We are blessed with the 2 most amazing children! In March of 2014 we decided to move across country and put the business on hold for about 6 months. When we launched in Wisconsin and we were amazed of the reaction of people and how much they loved our pieces. We decided to take a different turn on the business and make custom pieces using different material other than just re claimed wood. We changed the name to "Rugged Country Customs" My husband and I LOVE to every piece we make and put a lot of time and energy into making sure the customer is satisfied. Our goal one day is to have a shop and have our furniture in stores. But for right now we are content making our pieces at our home. Please help support our dream and place an order or spread the word! ~ Jason and Chelsea Locke Rugged Country Customs
