We chose to work with Terry based on an incredibly positive experience that our daughter & son-in-law had with her when they first moved to Southlake 5 years ago to furnish their entire new home. So, when we bought a place in Southlake, we went straight to Terry to help us furnish our new home as well. We have pretty traditional tastes in design and Terry was sensitive to our sense of style. We felt like she listened to us & our choices, however she also nudged us to the edges of our boundaries on occasion, and when she presented the entire set of coordinated pieces, they were right on the money. She was able to stretch our vision without pushing. We never felt like we were being "sold" something - she worked with us as a true partner. After the initial purchase of the basic furnishings, we continue to consult Terry for additional accent pieces. She knows our style & makes all the right recommendations. We have thoroughly enjoyed our relationship with Terry and love the outcome in our new home.

Terry Cook designed a transitional look for our living area in our new house. She drew up a floor plan that would work. She selected furniture and fabrics to bring the entire space together, while using pieces we already had. Terry created a master bedroom retreat using beautiful soft fabrics to tie the room together with a fabulous seating area. She was able to exceed deadlines and always kept our budget in mind.

Terry Ann is talented in her work. We have been working together for a few years on different projects and I love all her ideas and recommendations. She is open minded and truly wants to understand your vision and what we want to achieve. Her recommendations are tailored to both our needs and budget. One of Terry's greatest design aspects is that she is amazing at seeing the big picture AND the details to make everything cohesive yet still unique. Terry Ann first transformed my bedroom with draperies, vignettes, bedding , a new chair & table. I went from disliking the room to totally loving it. I feel like she zeroed in on my taste right away. At a later date I had her update the living room with a gorgeous rug and then had the chairs recovered, along with new pillows. I'm very happy with it. I have been purchasing Ethan Allen furniture for about 40 years and find it to be worth it. Recently, I ordered kitchen and bedroom furniture for our lake home in Michigan and had Terry Ann help me with the selections. Since there are no EA stores in Northern Michigan, I ordered here in Southlake and they are shipping it to my place there.

The most important attribute of a designer is the ability to accurately "get" the vision the client wants to create. This is especially true for clients who don't know how to clearly communicate his/her vision, such as myself. TerryAnn is great at asking questions and listening. With each project she has helped me on, I am left astonished at how precisely she captures and brings to life my vision. I consistently get compliments from family and friends on her work. This is no surprise, given what an extremely talented and competent designer she is. Her knowledge and expertise comes with an added bonus: her genuinely kind personality.

Terry Ann did an absolutely great job on the decorating of our home. She came out to measure and get a feel for our home. Within a week, she met with my wife and I to review her recommendations. Although at first it was not what we expected, we quickly realized that her ideas were better than what we had imagined on our own. We routinely get compliments from visitors regarding the overall decor of our home.....it is just right!
