Fabulous designers! They have been in business for 40 years! They listen to your needs and Implement the designs elements that best suit your lifestyle. Recently, I bought two beautiful chairs and a unique lamp. They are some of my favorite things in my house! So happy they are a local business.

My experience with this design studio has proven to be a life, time and money saver. My only regret is that I did not bring Carrie Babbington in at the beginning of the project, I could have saved a lot of money and time. Carrie is worth her weight in gold. Every thing I expect in a professional she has meet and exceeded. She is knowledgeable, timely and she listens. She has great design concepts, but she does not push them on you. She helps you stay in budget and finds alternative furnishing pieces to achieve the "look" you want. My advice hire this design studio at the beginning of your project,you will be glad you did.

Carrie is a wonderful interior designer. She has helped pick out our paint color and pictures to accent our walls. She is always very timely and really listens to your wants and needs. I highly recommend The Finishing Touch for decorating ideas.

We've worked with Carrie for a number of years. She has an incredible eye for what will work and, equally important, what will NOT work. And Carrie always employs just the right manner in which to gently suggest that something we were considering was a pretty awful idea. New family room design including new furniture, lighting, window coverings and fireplace refacing. Our designer, Carrie Babington, had great ideas, color schemes and suggestions for refacing our fireplace, which has made a dramatic difference as the focal point in the room. We couldn't be happier with the end result.

I hired Molly Ferguson from The Finishing Touch and Office Interiors back in November of 2014. My husband and I wanted to update our master bathroom and wasn't sure of any new products or designs. Molly came in very enthusiastic. She was very professional. She came prepared with books and ideas for us to talk about. Molly has a great eye for design! We loved the outcome of our bathroom. One of the designers helped me pick out tile and fixtures for a bathroom and managed suppliers. Additionally she helped me manage contractors.

I needed help with the color scheme for my living room, as well as selecting furniture for the room. Carrie was very patient and helpful through the whole process. I truly believe she understood I wanted a room that was "light & bright". She worked with me to come up with a scheme that met my desires, and not just some picture in a catalogue.

We hired Carrie to help with interior design of our home remodel. After living in our house for 5 years and with our first child on the way it was time to make some changes. The entire first floor of the home was gutted and remodeled - kitchen, dinning room, living room, spare bedroom, 2nd spare bedroom was turned into a nursery. Part of the basement was also remodeled - bathroom, bedroom. We added an additional 200 sq. ft. to the home. With a baby coming and both of us working full time we had zero extra time to look through endless options of products. Carrie sat down with us and listened to our needs and wants. By doing this she got to know us well and was able to provide a few options that she thought satisfied our tastes. Not having an endless budget we had to pick and choose were to spend. Carrie was extremely helpful in advising where to splurge a little and where to be conservative. She was an integral part of any issues that arose during construction and was an advocate for us to the general contractor. The construction lasted around 4 months. Carrie would come to the house at least weekly to walk through and monitor progress and look for any potential issues. This was very important as it kept the progress moving and we were able to address problems with the general contractor in real time. Once the construction was over it was time for new furnishings. Carrie once again gave us multiple options for couches, tables, area rugs, etc. It was really nice that Carrie was also able to provide window blinds and treatments. She ordered everything for us and had everything professional delivered and installed. Overall, the project would never have been accomplished without her. We highly recommend her for any home remodeling project. Carrie provided expert advice on how to take a home built in the 80's and completely update. She guided us through the entire process starting with design and ending with furnishings.
