“Bo Concepts is a hidden treasure in Vancouver. If you own a condo, and want to create a unique place, you owe it to yourself to check this store out near Granville island. They have very helpful and friendly staff and their furniture is reasonably priced. I initially had shopped at Inspiration Furniture which is a store just downstairs from the Bo Concepts but Bo concepts has more hip and modern European style selection. Their furniture is very intelligently designed and is not bulky like the stuff you get at the Brick. It fits in very nicely in condos where space comes at a premium so it helps to have furniture pieces that can multi task. The Sales associates at Bo concepts are also Designors. My Sales Associate Yumi Murayama, who was a pleasure to work with from the very start, , assisted me with space design and overall concept after finding out how I was going to use my space. She was very patient, and looked at the layout of my living room, and presented me with options on how I could arrange furniture pieces and suggestions on where to put the television, on the fireplace or the big wall near the dining room. She gave you time to think through the options and was not pushy. She even helped me confirm that the paint colors for the walls I had picked would coordinate well with the Furniture wood finish. They have special design software and can whip up quickly space configurations in 3D. It was very impressive indeed and takes the uncertainly away on whether the pieces will fit and secondly how it would look. The 3 D drawings service plus Yumi;s expert Design Perspectives helped me select the white handsome leather sectional sofa that anchors my living room, the smart coffee table and the credenza or the Sideboard as they call them in European design. She also helped me pick a beautiful large piece of art work over the dining room table as well as a gorgeous crystal chandelier. Sometimes when you are picking furniture, it is an asset to have a good Designor working with you as you pick pieces that will look good together when it is all done. More importantly you become more ambitious and adventurous in your selection when you have a professional like Yumi working with you. She was both a Sales Associate as well as a Designor. By the way there is no charge for these Design services. It is part of the service Bo Concepts provides. Now my place looks a like a multi million dollar condo that you would see in a Design Magazine, thanks to help I got from folks at Bo Concepts , Yumi Murayama and her Manager Virgile.”
