About Us

Weideman Woodworking provides the best and most unique rustic and live edge furniture. During a Marine Corps tour through Japan, Aaron Weideman discovered the technique Shou Sugi Ban. It is an ancient technique used to preserve wood from bugs, weather, and in return makes the wood fire resistant. By combining this technique with the generational techniques passed down from Aaron's ancestral line of German carpenters, Aaron is able to create HIGH Quality Live Edge Tables so UNIQUE you cannot find anything else like it.

I ordered a table from Weideman Woodworking and received a great product. The table is of great quality and is very unique due to the methods Weideman utilized to give it the rustic look. I’ve never had a piece like it and it always seems to catch the eye of guests in my home. Having met Weideman and his family they are a creative and thoughtful bunch and I enjoy sharing with others the fascinating work they produce with simple materials.
