Golden State Garage Door

After mentioning my shotty Garage door to a friend over a couple beers I was recommended GSD. They replaced my entire garage door with the exact details I had requested for less then what i was quoted. My only complaint would have to be that one of the remotes isn't programmed to the door clearly over looked prior to leaving. I've called a couple of times but unfortunately their mailbox is full. Other then that minor detail these guys are serious pros.

I would be hesitant in recommending Levi. He came by promptly and professionally and fixed our garage. BUT two weeks later our garage had failed us again and he refused to answer or return our calls. We were willing to pay additional fees for repairing it but unfortunately he refused to take our calls.

The motor on my garage door went out a while ago, but then the door started falling apart. I was a bit short on cash so Levi recommended a single piece motorless door. He had the motor removed and the door swapped in a single day. It’s as if nothing happened, except now I have a new (and functional) garage door!

One of the springs on my garage door snapped. I got some referrals from Angie's List and chose Levi based on the uniformly positive feedback he had received. He arrived early for our appointment, quickly assessed the situation and replaced both springs, which were 15+ years old. He also checked the rollers, channels, cables and motor to make certain everything was functioning properly. All work completed in under an hour, which I really appreciated.

I, as a general contractor, hired the Golden state garage door to install two garage doors for my client at the following address. the entire project happened very smooth and on time. I have no hesitations to recommend this company to anyone who has this plan in his mind.

Levy was honest and true to his word. I had a problem with my garage door remote not opening at night when the streetlights came on. He tried a part, but it did not fix the problem. He called the company for me, returned a week later to make good on his promise that he needed to order a different part from the garage door opener company. In a week he fixed the problem and did not charge me extra for his time or the extra part,keypads or remote!. I highly recommend Levy and Golden State Garage Door.

They were prompt, responsive, professional, and made sure to cleaned up afterwards. I had a spring on my garage door break and coordinated with them via e-mail at first and then text messages. Levi was great. It happened very quickly, he quoted me on the phone with videos and photos of my garage repair job. Levi arrived earlier than expected, which was great. Got working quickly. I asked him if I could watch him work for my own knowledge as a DIY ... he was very professional and even provided some helpful info. Levi is extremely professional and friendly in manner. Obviously he knew his stuff and got the job done quickly. Kind of surprising at the end of the job, he lowered his price from his original quote stating he wanted to fair about the pricing. That was amazing. How many contractors will you find they will lower the price - you both agreed on - because he felt the original price was too much. It was small discount off but very nice surprise. We talked about installing these new bluetooth garage opener. I am definitely considering and will definitely call Levi and his company. Very satisfied customer!!!!

I heard about Golden State through a co-worker and gave them a call and set up an appointment. Met with Levi and he changed my springs within the hour for a reasonable price. He was very professional and polite I will definitely use them again.

I noticed one day that my garage door wouldn’t open, so I did some research and decided to give Levi a call. After he came by and did an inspection, he determined one of the springs on my door was broken, and needed to be replaced by a trained professional (not me), due to the hazards of the process. Thanks to Levi’s professionalism and desire to put my needs first, he built a lasting relationship with a new customer and now I have a working garage door.
