I called at 10:30 this morning about getting my garage door serviced and they were here by 11 am. The courteous specialist was knowledgeable and explained and showed me everything so I could understand what needed doing. The price was reasonable and I am very pleased. I have used Hicklin before and my 5 star rating has not changed with this visit.

Displeased Buyer

I called for a service and described the problem in exact details. The price given on the phone for all parts and services was $199. After the work done, I gave a coupon for $45 they don't want to honor their coupon. I had another coupon for 10% off from their previous service, they didn't honor that either. He told me that I can use that coupons for the next visit. Right, I am not going to call them anymore. This was a very poor service and a business practice based on deceiving the customer!

Sorry you were not satisfied with the price. However the price you paid for the job we did is very competitive.
The price we gave you over the phone included the current coupons. If you look at your invoice it clearly shows what the normal charges are not including coupons. We simply can't offer more then one discount per service. Furthermore the coupons specifically state that one discount is allowed per service and they cannot be combined with any other offers.

We had great experiences with the technician who came out to our house to fix the lousy garage door opener that came with our house. Twice! Two different things broke on our garage door, and they fixed them completely. The charges were fair, and better than other similar companies I'd researched. When we need a new garage door eventually, it will definitely be from them. Although, they fixed the one our house came with so well, that we probably won't need a garage door or opener for a very long time. I highly recommend them. Their hours are also great as they were able to come out after we got off work, which was another big plus. The technician was extremely friendly and explained everything to us.
