Tailored Living featuring Premier Garage of OC

TL;DR: We had Tailored Living (aka Premier Garage) install bookshelves and drawers in niches around the fireplace in our living room. We definitely recommend them for this type of work. Details We had two very large niches on each side of our fireplace (four total). We wanted bookshelves in the upper two niches and a set of three drawers in each of the lower niches. On their visit to our home, Debbie and Chris took the time to understand what we wanted and discussed ideas on what could be done. The discussion continued during visits to their showroom as we refined what we wanted. They did create computer mockups (very rough) for the appearance of the final product. The mockups were helpful, but we appreciated seeing actual samples of the various materials that would be used and how they would be assembled. The workmen, Eric and Tony, arrived within the scheduled start time. Actual construction and assembly was done outside which minimized cleanup in the house. When they were nearly done, we noticed that there was no trim around the edges of the bookshelves (which would cover the shims between the bookcases and the original walls). We mentioned this to Eric. Although the trim had not been on his work order, he had sufficient trim in his truck to add trim around both the upper areas. We really appreciate him doing this. Instead of taking 6-8 hours, the work took 10 hours. Ten minutes of that was helping us put the TV back in place. At the end of such a long day everyone was getting tired. Afterwards we had to do some minor cleanup (wood dust from drilling holes) and some spots of manufacturing coloration that was quickly removed with acetone. In summary, the final cabinets, shelves and drawers all look wonderful. Overall we are happy with the work that was done.

We just had our garage epoxy flooring completed last week by our installer Martin. He was so professional, knowledgeable and was able to answer all our questions. I explained to him that our two girls (toddlers) would be using the garage sometimes as their 2nd play area. He insured me that he would make sure that the floor was smooth enough for them to play in. He took the extra care to make it perfect! We would recommend this company to anyone! The quality of the floor truly makes the garage another part of the home! Now we just have to get them out here for our garage cabinets!!! Thank you Premier Garage!

After my consultation I received an email the same day with specs, layout and detailed cost. Once I signed off on the project I received a reminder calls and "I'm on my way" calls so I felt assured that the job was going to get done. Everybody showed up when they were supposed to and finished as scheduled. I highly recommend Tailored Living.

My first time installing anything in my new home, Chris was the first to respond and came over to assess and discuss what I wanted. With 10 years of experience running his own business, he was able to answer all of my questions and make recommendations based on our needs and wants. His overall professional yet approachable demeanor sealed the deal; I did not bother to call any other place for quotes. I was confident in him and his product. I never once felt pressured or felt like I was being sold to; just a genuine person offering a great product and service. This was further confirmed by speaking with his great team of people who works with him. Chris and his team were great at following up with me, making sure of all details. When the day came, he had two awesome installers, Johnny and Jason, who were professional, efficient and so friendly. They kept me in the loop of everything they were doing throughout the job, so there were no surprises. We will definitely be calling them back again to install more cabinets in our garage.

We researched and contacted numerous companies in the OC/I.E. area for a garage storage/cabinet installation project. Between the 2 companies that we ended up choosing to conduct an in-home estimate, we felt that Tailored Living was heads and shoulders above the competition. Some key factors in making our decision included but were not limited to: warranty, cost, execution, design, reputation, Yelp reviews. Debbie Stringer is a consummate professional and really took her time to develop a garage design that was not only very specific to our needs but she considered and added components that we didn't even think of. She worked within our budget and did not try to "sell" us anything we didn't want or need, given our budget. The team built and installed a design that was FAR BEYOND our expectations: literally the most beautiful garage cabinet design my husband and I could ever dream of. They worked efficiently and even came out the day before the 4th of July holiday. They were meticulous with every detail and clean up. We could not wait to start lining the cabinets right away and start organizing all the excess items we had pushed away in the closets of our home. We are already looking forward to our next projects with Tailored Living in the future, including epoxy flooring and master bedroom closet redesign. I could not recommend Tailored Living more highly- they've done a beyond exceptional job with a wonderful experience from beginning to end!

Tailored Living did a complete redo on my garage and I love it! Having just accepted my garage was just a dusty, pile of stuff...when I decided to clear out all the stuff, I now have a beautiful room that I just so happen to park my car in....I actually enjoy going in there and, because its so beautifully finished with these amazingly sturdy cabinets that I designed with the help of Ken who was so helpful, I refuse to now keep anything that is not in tip top shape nor of use to me. Its helped me to Fung Shui my life even further was I am now very thoughtful of any “stuff” I think I need to store away. Thank you Tailored Living! And I must add, every single one of the guys who worked on my garage, they showed up when they said they would, they were neat and clean and above all, they were polite and respectful. They even went above and beyond and helped me clear out a last pile of items to be trashed that I couldn’t myself move out, they took it all away for me. I can’t say enough good about this company....I would hire them again in a blink!

Walter Guezara did an excellent job on my garage floor. I first saw his work when he was doing my next door neighbor's garage. I was very impressed in the quality of the almost finished product that was far superior to the one I had on my previous home. I asked Walter to give me a quote that seemed reasonable and I did not even ask for other bids. Walter did not disappointed me and did an excellent job. Walter is very friendly and trust worthy.

Tailored living did an outstanding job installing cabinets and a workbench in my basement in Irvine. They were the fastest company to come out and quote, and the owner was very easy to work with and knowledgeable. He created a computer rendering on site of what the installation would look like, which was incredibly helpful. Could not be more pleased, one of the best improvements I've done to my house thus far in terms of bang for buck.

We got garage flooring and bedroom closets done recently with Tailored Living. Debbie was our designer and did a fantastic job of listening to us and coming up with designs that fit our needs. She was prompt, extremely patient and worked with us to incorporate all the changes we requested. Teresa coordinated the installs and communicated clearly about the times and what we can expect regarding the installation. Martin & Walter installed our epoxy floors and did a n awesome job. Kory, Patrick & another team member worked on our closets and shelves. They were efficient and detail oriented and made sure we got exactly what we wanted. They have an excellent team at Tailored Living - Orange County who are responsible for making every step of the whole process as smooth and efficient as possible. We are extremely happy with our experience and we highly recommend them.

My husband and I hired Tailored Living to redo our garage. Our laundry is located in our garage, and our cracked concrete floors and old cabinetry made it a less than desirable place to spend time. Our water heater and HVAC were also exposed in the space. We visited Tailored Living with the vision to close off the water heater/HVAC space with cabinet doors, as well as the desire to refinish our garage flooring and replace our old outdated cabinets and laundry space. Chris worked with us to do a 3-D rendering and made our vision come to life. We hired them immediately and started the project 3 weeks later. We absolutely LOVE the results! The garage went from a place I never wanted to enter, to a place I actually enjoy doing laundry in! The epoxy flooring Chris helped us choose matches our house style perfectly, and is incredibly durable. The cabinetry we added created TONS of storage. The project did not go without hiccups. (The first countertop measurement in our laundry space was not deep enough). However, Chris and the crew were quick to resolve the issue. We are so so happy with our new garage and would definitely recommend Tailored Living to our family and friends!

This company was quick to send a designer out to provide us with a quote to install closet built-ins. We appreciate Carol coming out to measure and explain the best design for the space we had. The rest of the process was very smooth. Theresa helped get our date scheduled and answer any questions I had about the install. Kory came and installed it by himself and it only took a few hours. He did an AWESOME job and I'm so happy with went with Tailored Living.

Debbie was our consultant and from day 1 it was a seamless process, she was patient and helpful and checked in when she said she would and didn't call unnecessarily trying to get an answer or force their business on me. The design process was tailored towards our needs and very flexible, the price was fair, and the install went smoothly, the installers were professional and and answered any questions I had as well as changing minor things to fit our needs. I would definitely recommend then as well as probably use them for my future garage storage needs.

My design consultant spent a lot of time with me and made sure to come up with a plan that would fit all of my clothes/shoes but stay within my budget.
