“Having worked with many different types of contractors the last few years, its refreshing to find someone who tells me what it is going to cost (and sticks to it), shows up when they say they will, and then does a good job providing the service. That is exactly what Nick and everyone else did for us yesterday. Now for the details. I have a 16-18 year old garage door opener in my Oro Valley home that had a broken limiter switch and couldn't get it to close automatically. We really didn't do too much maintenance on the garage door so I found A1 Garage Door Tucson AZ and decided to hire them to do a full maintenance on it. I called on a Saturday and the dispatcher (Nicole) found a slot on Monday to take a look at it. He came out yesterday and did a full assessment. He found the broken switch and gave me some options. He said the fix would be inexpensive, but I told him to do a full safety check and he said the main spring can hold up for some more years, but it possibly could give out and it was a bit old. I decided to have him to a full maintenance and fix the switch. He re-lubed the main chain, all the rollers, re-tightened all the bolts connected to the door, added a stability a-frame piece of metal which stabilized the main shaft which wobbled before, fixed the limiter switch and replaced the main torsion spring and added weather stripping below the door. All I can say is that it was great. It's much quieter, sealed, more stable and from a safety perspective good to go for many more years to come. Nick actually gave me some great maintenance tips that I should do yearly in terms of lubrication to make sure everything runs smoothly going forward. The money spent was affordable and gave me piece of mind that I won't have any issues with the door for a long time. Highly recommended and a professionally run business.”
