“My husband and I are absolutely delighted with Trisa Pierce and all of the people who subcontracted for her. Trisa is a true artist when it comes to designing yards and she brings a wealth of horticultural knowledge to the project as well. We have lived in our home for 43 years and had never really done anything with the yards, except for planting the occasional annuals and cleaning, so we were neophytes when it came to this project. We had the entire outdoor area redone- front, back, and side yards. My husband had removed our pool the previous year, so our backyard looked like a bomb had gone off in it. Trisa spent lots of time with us to try to determine what we actually wanted and she was able to offer suggestions and possible solutions to problem areas. She made very careful measurements of our property from many different angles, and one of the things that impressed me the most was the fact that she approached the project by taking into account the views from the windows of our house and our guest house. She encouraged us to research ideas for this project and she was able to provide us with sketches which helped us visualize the whole project. She was pleasant and easy to work with, she was up front about costs, subcontracted with very knowledgeable people who knew their field of expertise and were able to implement it in a timely fashion, met deadlines with just a few weather-related delays, returned phone calls promptly, and we were particularly impressed with her ability to work with one of our neighbors. We needed access to our backyard through his property and Trisa was a big help in gaining that access. I collected business cards from Trisa and the subcontractors, since our neighbors stopped by often and had questions, including who was doing the work for us. I was happy to recommend all of these people. We made several trips to local nurseries to select plants and trees and Trisa was particularly helpful in that area, since she knew the tolerance of the plants and trees to various growing conditions. As I said at the beginning of this review, Trisa is an artist and her placement of plants and trees is beautiful. I am very happy with the results of our "yard" remodel and with the project itself. I learned a great deal and our yards, both front and back, are now the showpiece of the neighborhood.”

“Who knew San Mateo had its own Turf Depot?! It knocks the other Depot out of the playing field! I have to say I was impressed by it’s super customer service and beautiful products at great prices. I called a half-hour before closing, asking about their customer base; they work for all: corporations, residential, and for individuals like me, luckily! Steve showed me a beautiful array of samples and knew exact specifications off-hand, which made it so easy for me to select what I needed quickly. Charlie entered the picture and the team led me into the warehouse right next door. The warehouse was tidy and well organized and it made everything so efficient. To my surprise the products didn’t off-gas and they look just as good online as they do in person. It was neat to see behind the scenes as well- it would have been such a cool field trip for a child! Steve and Charlie were both so friendly and fun. They care about what they do and enjoy connecting with their customers- particularly a blessing in these times! They were able to accommodate my small request and helped me to find just what I needed, and it was a lovely 10 minutes spent! What a gem this place is- I highly recommend doing business with Turf Depot! Thank you guys!”
