Agreed to drop 3 tons of decomposed granite at top of driveway. Left them on the sidewalk instead. Then gave me EXTREME attitude defending his mistake. Had to hire heavy equipment so as to not impede pedestrian access to the sidewalk on a busy street. Would never, ever do business with again.

Ordered and paid for DG and boulders 5 weeks ago and Chris won't answer the phone and everyone else there says he is the only one that can help. I've called 20 times; one VM box is full, the other he doesn't answer. What a total disaster. Huge shame because they have good material but the terrible customer service completely offsets it. Don't bother, they've ripped me off.

Worst place ever, they don’t answer phone or return email and didn’t come through with the order I place, big waste of time

Called and talked to him 3 times about getting a quote on landscape boulders and DG.. I also emailed him twice at his request. He did not follow through on anything he said he would do. Never called me back or responded to the emails. I gave up and went elsewhere.

I was searching for 3/8 rock screened and was having a tough time locating it in my area. Chris is very knowledgeable and seemed happy to help. He even mailed me some different sample options to choose from before placing the order.

Incredibly rude customer service rep. I called to get a quote on DG and spoke to a man who couldn't be more condescending and rude. Said one of his products that I inquired about was garbage?! Also said that to get a simple quote I needed to provide my email address. When I said I didn't feel that was necessary he said "we don't do business with people that don't provide their email address." Wow, really, is that because I refuse to be automatically put on your annoying email list or have my email address sold.

Chris was so helpful in directing me where to find my stone. He gave me suggestions so I could finish my incomplete project. He contacted me by email with suggestions and direction every step of the way. Customer service like this is hard to find. Thank you again.

They gave me a quote on some materials, and I agreed. They would not ship at the price they quoted. After over a month, I got the materials elsewhere.

I went looking for alternative color choices for Decomposed Granite to what I was seeing in my area. I lucked-out when I discovered Earth Stone & Rock. They offer a comprehensive website with detailed descriptions and photos of the landscaping materials they source. Plus lots of information and videos on how to use these materials in your landscape design. I was thrilled to see so many choices that were unavailable to me locally. I spoke with Chris who is extremely knowledgeable about all things stone. He made suggestions and offered to send me samples. By the next day I received six, all of them superior to anything else I’d seen up to then. If you'd like to go beyond the one or two choices your local landscape/building material company has to offer, visit their website and prepare yourself to be amazed! My only regret is that I didn’t find Earth Stone & Rock sooner; before I wasted time and gas driving around So Cal looking at the same materials. I highly recommend this Company for their customer service and knowledge. I look forward to doing business with them. Heartfelt thanks Chris.
