Somerset Nursery

I live in Chester Springs, Pennsylvania. It's beautiful horse country. I live in a development, and I live in a townhouse. I asked Somerset Nursery for some assistance in planting flowers in the front of my house and in some planter boxes the previous owner had built onto the front of my back deck. Maria from Somerset took the time to come to my little house. She assessed the soil conditions, she looked at the sun that comes to those areas, and she talked to me about what I like, colors, textures, size, etc. After giving it some thought, she recommended some wonderful plants! Everything she recommended came up looking wonderful. Of course, there had to be one "problem plant" that just would not take... Not Somerset's fault, but when Maria asked how all of my "babies" were doing, I told her that all but one was happy. "Not a problem, she said, Somerset has a guarantee on all of the plants we sell." She replaced it with a similar plant that did much better in my gardens. When my parents had a house with a pool, I always bought plants and mulch (I would buy bags and spread it), but I understand they deliver too!, from Somerset - even at Christmas time - Somerset in Glenmoore was my one stop shop for the most beautiful Christmas trees, stand, and even the plastic bag to wrap it up at the end of the seasons. On one occasion to visit friends of my mother's, I stopped at Somerset in Zionsville to pick up a mum. It was the most beautiful, yellow, full mum - and my mom's friends was blown away by it - I told her I bought it at Somerset on my way to her house and she said she was gong to go there the next day to buy a few more - when I told her the very good price - she was tickled! My St. Francis statue on my deck protects and watches over my dogs ... I bought it at Somerset about 6 years ago, and it sits guarding over me and my furry friends. Yup, Somerset nursery is a one-stop shop for gifts, plants, mulch and more! Like the song says, "It's All about the Bass," with Somerset "It's All about the Service!"

I stopped into Somerset Nursery after work one afternoon to look at plants for a few garden beds around my home. Maria spent a lot of time with me, helping me with a plan of attack, helping me layer different types of plants to hide my homes flaws and highlight the things that made it unique. They had a ton of different types of plants, but Maria walked me through figuring out would work for me. They setup delivery or the plants and mulch and with Maria’s design ideas it looks great. I did have one plant that didn’t make it and they were very helpful with getting it replaced. I won’t ever got anywhere else to get my plants from here on out because they made me feel like family.

We hired Somerset to do our landscaping design and to furnish all the materials. Not only were they professional but the project looked wonderful at completion. It is an honest and ethical company with exceptional service and attention to detail. I would highly recommend their services.

Shrubs are first rate and healthy. They stand behind their products and the staff and owners are extremely knowledgeable and friendly. Pricing is extremely competitive with expertise thrown in for free! I drive many miles out of my neighborhood to shop there and it is worth the lovely ride in the beautiful countryside!!

I received expert advice on plantings and groupings of plants. They are very knowledgeable and helpful . Their pricing is excellent. Everything is in one place and the people who work there know their stuff.
