I bought a greenhouse from them and hired them to install
We live in Redmond Washington and bought a Sunglo model 1700-C greenhouse several months ago. Because I wasn't confident I could assemble it by myself, we had folks from Sunglo assemble it for us. Now that I have seen and helped in the assembly, I'm confident I could do it myself, though I would want a second person to help. I also understand now why Sunglo uses rivets -- they make a very strong and rattle-free structure. The first few rivets went in pop-pop-pop, and the last few rivets gave a satisfying "pong" sound because the greenhouse had become a single taut structure. The 1700-C model is a lean-to, and we had it installed against our house on a second-story deck, surrounding a door to our house. This made it easy to walk straight into the greenhouse from the kitchen, which we now do several times a day. The greenhouse also has its own external door which we use often, especially hauling plants or soil in or out. This model measures 7' 7.5" x 10', is 7' 6.5" tall, and we've found it a good size for us. It allows 2 racks of 10' long shelves. They're wide enough for all our plants and can carry quite a bit of weight. There is enough room left for 2 chairs and a small table, and we can still both move around inside. I'm 6 feet tall and find the head room is good. Our house eaves are a little low, but the greenhouse fit without modification. The greenhouse panels are a double layer of acrylic, and we've found the air space between the panels offers a surprising amount of insulation. These double panels allow plenty of light -- so much so that we usually keep Sunglo's shade cloth up when the sun is out. We have two grow lamps over the plants and keep them on during the day. This combination of shade cloth plus grow lamps seems to offer the best flexibility for Washington's mixture of clouds and sun. Our Sunglo kit came with a controller unit, an external fan, electric shutter and small heater. We have the controller plugged into our house power and all the accessories plugged into the controller. When it gets hot, the shutter opens and the fan starts. When it cools down, the fan stops and they both close. When it gets cold, the heater starts. We ignore the heater's thermostat because the controller's is further away from the heat source and gives more precise control. The heater is able to keep the greenhouse warm on most cool nights. When the temperature dropped into the low 20's we added a second small heater. I should mention some of our orchids are tropical, so our heating requirements are toward the warm end, and snow is on the ground. We control humidity with a Honeywell QuietCare 9-Gallon humidifier and have had no problems maintaining the humidity, even during those low 20's. Our kit included a small fan to move the air around, and we keep it running always. We recently added a second oscillating fan because we wanted more air movement. So that's all the technical details, but what is it like to live with? Having the greenhouse attached to the house is very convenient, and we go in several times a day. Some days we leave the door into the greenhouse open and treat it like an extra room. It's very nice to be able to sit out in the greenhouse on rainy days. It doesn't leak when it rains, and it doesn't rattle in heavy winds. And finally -- and the reason we bought it -- the orchids and bonsais are doing fantastic. Because this is our first greenhouse, it was a learning experience for us, but right now I think we have the right combination of heat, cool, light and water. And the folks at Sunglo have been extremely friendly and helpful. We are very happy with our Sunglo greenhouse and strongly recommend it. If we had it all to do over again, we would get exactly the same make and model.

purchased Sunglo Greenhouse for personal use/hobby
We purchased the green house in January. We had a few problems with the DVD and some of the material. This is a great company because of their customer service was the best I've ever dealt with. They are up to pare with Nordstroms. Joanie and Michael, very responsive and a credit to Sunglo. The greenhouse itself was a little challenging at first, but one we got accustom to all the parts it went of very smoothly. If there was a hiccup, which was caused by me, Michael was there 24/7 to help me. We are very pleased with the final product of our Sunglo Greenhouse! I give it a 5.0.

We bought their product and constructed it ourselves
We have bought two Sunglo greenhouses for use here in the Yakima, Wa valley. One about 7 years ago, and one this past winter. They are wonderful, well insulated, and they come with absolutely everything you need to start your gardening plan. Heater, shade clothe, ventilators, etc. Even benches and dirt bins. Everything that is extra in other greenhouses is included and much appreciated. Even though there is a video with instructions, customer service is just a phone call away, and they are awesome. In my opinion, you can not buy a better greenhouse for the money. Ours have stood the test of time. We have severe winters and summers. There is absolutely no disintegration even in the shade clothe.

I own a SunGlo Greenhouse that was designed and constructed in the 1970's. I am the second owner. Needless to say, after that many years of constant use and mostly a tree trimming job gone astray; I needed to replace a few panels. I called Joanie at SunGlo in Kent, Washington and ordered over the phone the panels I needed. I live an hour and a half away including a ferry ride. She was so knowledgeable of her product. I received in the mail my panels. No hassle, just good old friendly service. I also needed a special curved panel to fit on the end. I sent her a template of the panel and zip, back in the mail was my special panel. No hassle, just super nice service. I do appreciate the fact she went the extra mile for me. I would highly recommend SunGlo Greenhouse in Kent, Washington. Their service is superior and my greenhouse thinks it is brand new!

My 5x15 ft Sunglo lean-to greenhouse seems to be a great product and the customer service was outstanding. I hired a local contractor (Steve Herring with Greenhouses etc in Boise, ID) to help with construction of the greenhouse.

We bought our Sunglo 1000C greenhouse 6 years ago. We researched and considered other manufacturers, but settled on Sunglo because they are made in the U.S.A. Assembly was easy with the provided instructions. Best of all the quality of the product was high. The exhaust fan quit working a week ago so I called Sunglo to see about a replacement fan. Not only do they still carry the fans, but I found out every part of the green house can still be purchased and replaced. It took less than 10 minutes to get my replacement fan on order. I was very impressed with their customer service as they were extremely knowledgeable and helpful during the process. I recommend Sunglo to anyone wanting a quality U.S.A made greenhouse.
