Midsouth LanDesign Group was started in 2009 by Wes Shive. Prior to starting his own company, Wes worked in the landscape industry for over ten years. While pursuing his bachelor degree in landscape architecture at Mississippi State University, Wes worked in the campus landscape design office under the campus landscape architect, Samuel Hogue, ASLA. Upon graduation from MS State, he took a position in landscape design and sales for a company in DeSoto County, MS and later for a company in Collierville, TN. While working full-time, he was able to earn a master's degree in business administration from Delta State University. After becoming licensed, it was time to start his own company. At Midsouth LanDesign Group it is our mission to change the way you look at the contractor/client relationship. How we do that is quite simple...we listen! Listen to your needs, your ideas, and your desires for the property that you've always dreamed of. Our experience in landscape design and construction allows us to educate you about the entire process. We do not simply tell you what is going to happen. Instead, we work with you on choosing the correct materials, understanding your options, and maintaining a sincere budget proposal. As a member of the American Society of Landscape Architects, we are required to attend continuing education courses every year. This ensures that we are informed of the latest trends in the landscape industry.
