“Debbie and I just moved in to our beautiful, custom-built mountain home in Breckenridge. Though we already had design plans drawn, Chris Renner and his team helped us "right-size" the project for design and building cost efficiency... and we ended up with a better design and better cost with their experience and knowledge. We trimmed about 300 SF out of the design and have never missed it. Chris has a keen eye for design efficiency. No need to pay for extra SF that you never needed in the first place! Construction financing was easier than we expected, because the lenders we talked to knew Chris/Pinnacle and knew of his reputation to deliver projects on time and knew the quality of the homes he builds. They knew, as we also learned, that Chris and his team have a transparent and very detailed cost accounting and reporting system that helped us understand the details - as many as you might want - and track the expenses. The relationships Pinnacle has with its sub-contractors is exceptional. We met each one and they can deliver on quality and are good advisers too. Through the project I learned to trust their advice and it paid off. Our home is more than we expected. Beautiful, functional, efficient and not a hiccup along the way. Smooth. Let's not forget that these subcontractors delivered on price too. We saved on labor, material cost and on time. In the end (we just received our final Draw request), Debbie and I added about $45,000 in upgrades after the project started (like finishes, fixtures, outdoor fire pit/patio, etc.) and never noticed it in the cash flow... the entire project came in well below their estimate (our budget). In fact, even after adding the upgrades, we realized a net $50,000 savings from their initial estimate/budget. Chris delivered on his promise. This team can get projects done on time (8 months), under budget ($50,000) and deal with the client's changes along the way. And one final point of reference. Our home is just what we dreamed it would be...no,... it's better than we dreamed! The workmanship is wonderful. The advice and help from Pinnacle's experience in building custom homes has really paid off. It's the insights they had, and the small changes we made along the way, that are the little "unexpected" delights we see every day and would have missed if it would not have been for Chris, Chad (beloved Project Manager) and the Pinnacle team.
