“We have a beautiful home but the contractor that built it scrimped on cabinetry, we want to replace all the cabinets and make better use of the space we have so the kitchen is a great gathering place. We need a pantry, and some of the neat cabinet inserts to make better use of the space we have. I would like to add an island, we had one in our previous home, it was useful in cooking and was the gathering place. I have some disabiities and the kitchen we have is not real user friendly and we have to stack our pots and pans. A kitchen remodel would make our house look better and live better. We have not had the work done yet, but we have looked extensively at what we would do and tried to cost it out ourselves, knowing it is on the low side. If I won the money I would replace my appliances too, which would make the entire work estimated at between 50 to 60 thousand dollars.
