“Attic Renovation--Vermont Renovation and Remodeling worked with my partner and I over the course of a year to design and build out our 1880s farmhouse. The project had many working parts including moving a set of terribly steep stairs and building a new stairwell in a different area of the home. We were hoping to renovate the original and unused attic space of our home and add a bedroom and bathroom. VTR&R offered several designs and worked with us to plan for our current and future needs. At the end of the project, we have finished with more than we could have imagined! Their staff offered creative solutions to small areas (built in bookshelf to hide old stairwell entry), they were committed to refinishing and saving the original hardwood floors, and added touches original to the old home that makes the house feel authentic and fresh. In home, their staff and contractors are vetted and great to work with. Since we often work from home, working hours often overlapped and there was always communication and warnings for any changes or requests to keep the renovation moving without disruption to us and the job timeline. During very few hiccups for such a large project, Bill was sure to communicate options and be proactive with solutions.
