“Jamie and his team recently completed an extensive renovation of my condo. The project included new wood flooring for the entire first floor, four different tile projects, installation of a glass railing system, custom wood wall covering as well as several small projects. The craftsmanship of everyone involved was fantastic. The attention to detail throughout the project was amazing. Jamie is very knowledgable and was a tremendous help to me as my vision of what I wanted evolved. The transformation of my space is phenomenal and I would not hesitate to recommend Jamie.”

“We hired Falcon Custom Homes to build a home for us in 2010. There was a great coordination of efforts between Falcon, the bank, the architect, and the interior designer which made the process much easier for us. All of the sub contractors were polite and courteous. We would certainly recommend Falcon to any potential client and would use them again in the future.”

“Scott Christopher, or more specifically his renovation company Surpass, did a spectacular job completely remodeling our 1946 Cape Cod lake house. Previously it had very limited views of the lake but today, with the addition of a new kitchen space and elimination of numerous walls, the lake is visible from virtually every room. While the house has clearly been modernized his cabinet makers and workmen preserved the traditional feel of our old house. In addition, we signed on with a specific finish date in mind, December 24, giving them barely 4 months to complete. Although it frequently required weekend construction, which we lived through, they were done on the 20th.”

“We had all of our windows replaced and a new garage built. Derek replaced all of our windows and wrapped the outside of the windows, they look wonderful. Amber Valley also built a new garage for us, it was a good experience. If we had any questions or concerns it was addressed right away. After each day he followed up with us to see if we had any questions. Great job.”

“We redid some our home for our elderly mother and our grandchildren. We put up safety rails in the bathrooms, a ramp for our outside stairs, and remodeled the upstairs of our garage for a playroom for our grandchildren. GreenFit was very professional and completed everything on time within budget. We plan on doing more aging in place improvements for our mother in the future and will definitely use GreenFit. We love the changes to our home.”

“Bill Makuski said he didn't know if he would bid our remodeling job because he would be one of six bids. If I was getting six bids to choose the lowest bid, he wasn't interested. He surprised me by later saying he would bid it (I was lucky that it was during the recession of 2008). Three contractors dropped out because they felt the job was over their heads. It was a house of 5070 sq.ft. and we were gutting it. Thus, Bill Makuski's bid was one of three. His bid and another were even, and a third was lower. I discounted the lower----I didn't feel he was as knowledgable. I chose Bill because, after talking to his references, they raved that he didn't go over budget. They said he was very careful about that. Bill explained that he bids higher than some contractors because he gives a high budget for fixtures, etc., whereas some contractors will give a low budget on them and the client has to go over to get what they like. I'd done that before, so it made sense. True to his references, Bill stayed in budget. He had reasonable allowances for fixtures, and we didn't go over. He was knowledgable, and had a great team of sub-contractors. He had good aesthetic taste, and I worked with his decorator. Between the three of us, we transformed it into a beautiful place. I cannot recommend Bill Makuski enough. Not only did he do a great job, he has come over several times to check on a problem, totally unrelated to his remodeling work. I'm fortunate he agreed to bid it. Three contractors dropped out because it was too big of a job. Bill could handle it, and did it well.”

“The entire project was completed in five weeks and it turned out absolutely beautiful. Ted is an amazing general contractor and employs people who are craftsmen and gentlemen. From the first time I contacted Ted to discuss the possibility of doing our kitchen renovation until the project was complete, he communicated with me regarding every step and kept me informed on exactly what was going to happen on a daily basis. Ted's son, Justin, did most of the finish work and everyone who sees our kitchen is impressed what how beautiful the wainscoting and trim turned out. Justin is a perfectionist, and it shows in every bit of the work that he completes. Justin also let me know who was going to be working in the house and when and he arrived each day when he said that he would or called to let me know if he was going to be late. The electrician, Greg, and the tiler, Kevin, were terrific and went to great lengths to make sure that we were happy with what they did. I believe that the sub contractors that Ted used are a direct reflection of his high expectations and determination to have happy clients and a completed project that everyone can be proud of. I could go on about Ted and his son and our gorgeous new kitchen but will just add one more thing: Ted and Justin are not only fine craftsmen, they are creative individuals as well. Their input into design decisions was invaluable and the kitchen truly was a collaboration of ideas. I should also add that Ted is patient and a great listener (I may have become uptight a time or two) and did everything possible to make the remodeling experience a good one for us. He also treated everyone who worked on our kitchen with kindness and respect. We wouldn't consider contacting anyone other than Ted Perkins to have remodeling projects done in our home.”

“We love our new kitchen. I was very nervous about remodeling our kitchen and so had put it off for many years. Every other room in our 1970’s colonial had been updated but I kept thinking that to do anything with a big impact, we would have to add on square footage. We had a peninsula style kitchen with a breakfast nook and now we have a beautiful kitchen with an enormous granite island which better fits our lifestyle. Brian Huffman and our designer, Donna Cohen of Donna Cohen Interiors, worked hard to come up with a plan that not only worked with our square footage and our budget, but had a lot of extra touches that made the kitchen uniquely ours. Brian’s contractors were hard working and showed up when they were supposed to. It’s hard to be without a kitchen for several weeks and Brian really worked to make it less painful. After the cabinets were in and we were waiting for our granite tops, Brian installed some temporary counters and hooked up the old sink and faucet and dishwasher so we could cook at home again. I wouldn’t hesitate to use Huffman Homes for our next remodeling project.”
