“Grimball built an elevator shaft in our town house in downtown Charleston. Really nice work, all as quoted, and done on time. Came back as need when the elevator was installed and went over the quote and took off the charges for some work that did not need to be done. Were so dependable I gave them a house key and alarm codes. They helped find the right finishes and completed the inside of the elevator compartment for us when we were out of town. Just a pleasure to work with. I have recommended them to friends.”

“I hired Mike from Commonwealth contracting after purchasing a second home in Charleston, SC. I was very nervous to undergo a complete renovation from a distance but Mike & all of his men made this process seamless for us. The guys were all very trustworthy, helpful & eager to please. We completely renovated the entire townhouse & I couldn't be more pleased. I LOVE the end result! Of course there were a few "bumps" along the way but Mike always handled every situation quickly until it was perfect. I have no hesitation in recommending Mike & Commonwealth Contracting. I'm sure I'll be hiring them again in the future, they were wonderful!”

“I love working with Cava! She has a client/project calendar and schedule that is updated regularly which keeps the client and designer abreast of what is happening and when. For this and many reasons, i feel she is very organized and thorough. It is very uncommon for contractors to be organized today because of juggling multiple jobs whilst also dealing with subs that may or may not follow through. I was so impressed that after various material installations, she looked for the errors and flaws on the clients behalf and personally met with client and subcontractor to see that repairs were made. I would definitely recommend Cava Custom Build!”

“We hired Bowmen, LLC for a small bedroom renovation. Though they often do much larger projects, they made us feel like our bathroom was a top priority. Spencer (owner), Joe and Chyrel (project managers) were very present, knowledgeable, professional and answered all of our questions. Their subcontractors did impeccable work and left the site clean each day. I would recommend them highly for any project large or small.”
