“our basement was total open space, only a stairway in the middle. We wanted a bathroom, pool table area, TV area, bar area and closed in storage area. In addition my husband wanted to keep his workshop, and we did not want a finished ceiling. Deichmans project manager developed a plan that covered all of our desires. I wanted black cabinets, black ceiling, fairly dark walls and black woodwork. I wanted a barn door somewhere, a fireplace and stone to be incorporated somewhere. We wanted a well defined bar area with a soffit above. The great thing about the project is that they took what we wanted and figured out a way to make everything we wanted to work out. The quality of work is excellent. They paid so much attention to finishing details. When the job was done, they did not have to come back and re-do anything, it was completely finished. WE LOVE IT”

“We had been searching for a company that could successfully add a 25x30' sunken family room and half bath addition onto our 117 year old brick home, as well as handle an extensive complete remodel (taking walls out, adding new walls) of our existing structure for over 3 years. Unfortunately, not one company was willing to take on the task and we had given up hope. As a last resort, we hired a structural engineer (who confirmed it could be done), architect and the Goodrich Construction crew (based off the architect's advice). We then met with Jeremy Flitter, project manager for Goodrich Construction. Jeremy was so helpful, knowledgeable and patient in every aspect of our project from start to finish. He is extremely organized, detail orientated and very on top of things. I am a very visual person and Jeremy was always able to draw out what something would look like before it happened. The crew that we had at our house, (Eric, Keith and Kevin) for well over 7 months were great to work with! Keeping in mind that 7 months is a long time for people to be in your home, they were always respectful, informative on the process and so creative in their work. In such an old home, creativity was a necessary trait to have! We feel so completely lucky and grateful that Goodrich Construction crossed our path. They were able to make a dream of ours come true and actually went above and beyond what we ever imagined our home could be! We would not hesitate to tell anyone to hire them and in fact have been doing just that.”

“I really don't know where to start or end my review. My dream was to live in the Linden Hills neighborhood of Minneapolis. My husband and I found a 100-year-old home that was very small and in need of major remodeling, but it was in the perfect neighborhood. We were hesitant about undergoing such a huge renovation. After meeting with Treasured Spaces we were ecstatic! They listened to our needs and created plans that exceeded our highest expectations! And it gets even better. They were amazing to work with! They turned the plans that we created together into reality. We love our home and the entire process was amazing. So amazing that we've hired Treasured Spaces to come back on several additional jobs...a nursery off our master suite, a deck, finished basement spaces, and more...and that's just in our house that we purchased back in late 2010. We've since started buying rental properties and Treasured Spaces manages all of our pre-rental remodeling. Thank you Treasured Spaces for turning me into a remodelaholic!”

“We hired Evenson Concrete Systems (ECS) to remove the existing poured concrete patio from our yard and install a new, larger stamped and colored concrete patio. Although the initial process of getting everything selected and going took longer than originally expected, once they began the excavation of the old patio and pouring the new patio, it took less than a week to complete the entire project. Zac was professional and was easily contacted via phone or e-mail throughout the process. We loved how the patio turned out and couldn't be happier with the final product. However, we would have appreciated more updates throughout the process (i.e. where they were at, what was going to need to be done next). Also, although they promised to minimize the damage to the rest of our lawn, I arrived home early one day to find their employees parked on our lawn rather than near the street, which left dead spots on the lawn. While I'd recommend them and hire them again, I'd make sure the things like not parking on the lawn and fixing the grass they killed were arranged ahead of time next time.”
