“If I could rate this company higher, I would! A year ago, I had several companies come out to help fix the extreme cold happening on the 1st floor of our 1929 built brick and concrete structure home. I was a bit frustrated because they were offering cookie cutter solutions/services without really identifying the issue(s) causing the extreme cold. I called Dr Energy Service (DES) and was fortunate to have the owner, Chris Shepard come out and provide an energy audit. As you can imagine with the age of our home, he discovered there is no insulation in the walls, ceilings of the 1st floor and to make matters worse, our furnace is located in the attic, which means the solution must push heat down to the lower level! This is a unique situation which called for unconventional solutions. Chris listened, educated , and offered budget friendly options, including those that did NOT use their services. He was a man of integrity, patience, and knowledge. We were very cold, and he could have taken advantage of the situation and sold us all kinds of services; but he didn't! That spoke volumes and this year I called him back and together we determined a plan of action to warm our home. On 12/31, the crew (Jordan, Tyler, Cameron, Brayden, and Jake) came out to perform the work. The guys were punctual (8:15am), professional, courteous, and worked non stop the get the work completed in a timely manner. They kept me in the loop of the work planned and a few minor changes to the plan, that often come with an older home. They cleaned up, actually left things cleaner than when they started (Don't judge me lol) I am extremely happy and I highly recommend DES and hopefully when you book your project(s), you will be lucky to have the awesome crew I had at your home.”
