General Contractors Near Dartmouth

“This was the second large renovation and 3rd or 4th project we've worked on with Pat and his crew. Our high expectations were exceeded once again. Our project (a kitchen/pantry/mudroom/powder room reno) was completed in just over 3 months. The team was incredibly efficient, had great communication, and were a pleasure to have in our space for those 3 months (shout out to Ian & Helen, especially). Shawn provided trusted advice when we reached various decision points, has a great eye for details in the project, and always feels like an advocate for the homeowner with other trades. One especially notable thing about Pat's crew is their respect for the job site. At the end of every day, the job site was tidied up and left clean and orderly - something that even our neighbours noticed. Whenever someone is looking for a contractor, we always suggest Pat.”

“We had a basement that had some water damage due to a storm in 2022 so we decided it was time to renovate the basement and staircase. Our experience with Case Design/Remodeling has been outstanding! We are blown away by the work ethic they had and how they kept things organized and ourselves informed on day to day tasks. They kept to the schedule and the contractors were extremely professional and friendly. They redid the staircase and provided a landing to the basement, renovated the floor on both sides of the basement with waterproof flooring and added a 3 piece vanity room with tile floor. New lights and pot lights were also added and made the space so much brighter. With the new lighter paint, it really makes the space more welcoming. We really appreciate all the work and professionally the Case Design/Remodeling Team has done and shown us. And we would without a doubt, request them to do renovations elsewhere around the house.”

“Working with Jason Hanrahan, owner of Han-Cor Construction was a first-rate experience. From the beginning of our working relationship with Jason, he strived to ensure that we were informed of the steps that are required by the province, the steps that were required to build a house, and clearly outlined our allowances. Jason walked us through the building process and streamlined each step for us by breaking it down into sections to ensure that we were informed and included in all the decision-making processes as the build progressed. Jason was available all hours of the day and evenings to answer questions. He informed us at each step of the process and ensured we were informed of financial difference’s, allowed us to be involved in the process of each step and offered solutions to the problems that arose during the build. When Jason had questions on the building plans, designs, changes to the blue prints etc as we progressed with our build, Jason made the time to meet with us to review our changes, identified problems that could result from our changes but offered solutions to ensure we were compliant with codes. We made a lot of changes, and Jason made sure to take the time to ensure we were getting our forever home and that we were extremely happy with the end result. Jason regularly took it upon himself to ensure the quality of workmanship was above and beyond expectations. He has high standards of himself, his employees and his sub contractors. His attention to detail and need to ensure the workmanship is at a high standard was evident at each step of the process. Jason does not settle for good enough, but strives for exceptional work and high standards from everyone who works with him, and for him. Building a house can be stressful, and I won’t tell you there wont be times that you aren’t frustrated with your spouse, or your builder, but I can tell you that Jason understands the struggles you are going through, he adapts quickly to change with a positive outlook, seamlessly identifies his clients wants, needs and expectations and strives to ensure you have the home you want with masterful workmanship for years to come.”
