“Jim Laing, the person who designed our kitchen and bath renovation was most helpful and he bent over backwards in his efforts to make the design fit our needs. My wife is in a wheelchair and he designed a kitchen and bath that is totally accessible. He included features to make it easy to navigate and to use the various appliances and facilities. The overall design is beautiful and functional. He helped us to choose colours and materials to enhance the feel and function of the two rooms. He allowed enough room to make it easy to access drawers, and facilities from a wheelchair. His ability to manipulate the program he was using to change features and sizes easily to enable us to get the most useful space in the design was amazing and we were able to see the way the room would look from various angles during the process. We can hardly wait to see the finished project.”

“We really enjoyed working with Aaron and Justin of Home Guru Inc. on our kitchen renovation and are thrilled with the results! They helped us to make our space more open, modern and functional. They listened to what we wanted and helped us work out the details of how to get there. As with any renovation, especially one where you are opening up and taking down walls, there were some surprises and setbacks, but Aaron and Justin worked diligently to help us attain our goals and try to stay within our budget. The thing we appreciated most about Home Guru was that we felt they were trustworthy and were always trying to do things in our best interest. We were never worried that they were trying to rip us off, cut corners, or give us the run around. They were reachable and easy to communicate with. One of their areas of expertise is in "smart" home automation, which we decided to incorporate into our reno. We adore the programmed lighting that adds to the mood of our space. Our favourite elements would be the in-ceiling speakers that we've added to the kitchen, living room, bedroom and backyard. We can now play or stream music all over house depending on our location and mood. Music is a big part of our lives and has become a part of our children's lives as well. Our new open-concept kitchen has improved the flow of our house and the overall feeling of the space. The kitchen looks beautiful and the cabinets and countertops are of high quality.
