“My husband & I have nothing but the highest praise for Plantation Building Corp. Everyone including the owner, the building manager & the entire team have been great to work with. They are extremely knowledgeable in all areas of the building process & worked very hard to make this not only as easy as possible but also fun & exciting. They were extremely aware of our many desires & expectations & budget concerns. They worked to get us the best quality that we could afford. When we did have concerns about any area of the project, we had the ability to call, text, email or write our concern on co-constuct (computer program). We almost always had a response with in minutes. We also live on the coast on a tidal creek where the environment is very fragile & requires extra attention. They have gone out of their way to keep our creek safe from pollution & damage. They have also been very happy to take on special projects that were not in the original plans. One day the stone store which was moving called me on a Wednesday. They told me that the fountain which I had inquired about & had been in the ground there for several years could be mine for free if I could get it moved by the weekend. This would require draining it & dismantling all the flagstone from around it as well as the stone fountain itself-no easy job. I called my building manager. He & his masonry subcontractor were over to the stone place that day-dismantaling, marking & saving every piece of the fountain to be able to rebuild it at my new house. They perfectly reassembled it & made it even better. It is absolutely amazing! Also right at the end of our project they were finishing up the outdoor shower. The shower ended up being larger & placed in a slightly different place than the original plans had called for. We knew that the shower head was going to be placed a bit close to the shower door but decided that it would have to be okay. Our building manager saw this, unbeknown to us & had this changed. It required tearing out brick, relaying & insulating the shower line, cutting & replacing the brick. We had no idea that he was doing this but he just said that it wasn't right & needed to be done right! My husband had a motorcycle accident during the time why we were building & was laid up for a couple of months. The Plantation team were very concerned & helpful in many ways. I also had to be out of town for several weeks during this process & the building manager kept me informed of everything that was being done in my absence. He again called, texted & even used FaceTime to keep me totally informed & involved. Not only has the building manager gone above & beyond to help us but everyone on the team has also done this. This home has ended up absolutely beautiful - almost perfect! We consider this builder & his company to be good friends as well as the professionals that we hired to build our home. We trusted them & couldn't have asked a better experience. It has surpassed our expectations! And finally, even now when we have finished they have a great warranty plan to tie up any loose ends & anything which may have been overlooked. I have faith that they will keep their promises to us to insure our continued happiness with this house. They built the house for us but their care & concern was more like they were building it for themselves. They built more us than a house-they really built us a home! It was loved even before we moved in! Plantation Building Corp. was truly a great choice for my husband & I. We will always feel like we chose the "best"!”
