We took the home all the way down to the studs and replaced everything: interior framing, electric, HVAC, water, windows, new kitchens, new bathrooms, etc. He pushed through complicated issues as they arose and stayed on top of his subcontractors in order to push the project forward. The project turned out amazing, particularly the bathrooms and kitchens, and I'd be happy to work with him again on another project.”

“We could not be happier with Tilghman Builders - everybody in the company, ranging from Bob/Joanne for our first consultation, to Eric, to our lead carpenter JP, to every staff member and trade professional has been a joy to work with. Specifically, we had them do a gut renovation - converting an old bedroom into a new, large principal bath. They also did a bunch of re-working of existing space adjacent to our principal bedroom, adding new closets, a new laundry space, and hall-accessible linen closets. They were fantastic planners - probably the thing that makes them stand out the most. They had a schedule, and even when things got behind (because you always find something unexpected behind the walls!) they adjusted the schedule, had sub-contractors come in extra days, etc to catch up. We had several unexpected hiccups, including non-level subfloors that required creative solutions, and they worked with us to fix them, stay on schedule, and keep our design intact. They are professional about pricing, both for the original proposal and change orders. The team ran everything by us. They showed up on time, every day, and cleaned up at the end of each day. AMAZING team of professionals who clearly love what they do. Most importantly, these guys are the consummate professionals and just good, kind, caring people. They befriended our young kids, who still ask about them - "when are the builders coming back?" They were respectful of a crazy schedule for our family and did everything they could to make this process as easy as possible. We'll be hiring them again for the next project at our house!
