“We hired Ken to install a barn door in our older townhouse. He came on very short notice, and worked around several challenges due to the age of the home. He's very pleasant to talk to, accommodated changes in plans, and always found a way to "make it work" even though the materials we bought were not ideal. When he was done, we asked him to install a couple of light fixtures, which he did quickly, solving minor problems as they arose. I'm sure we'll use his services again.”

“My partner and I decided the renovate the basement of our house to allow for more entertainment space in our small 1950s bungalow. Jackson was very accommodating with all of our requests and had so much patience with all of our questions and fears about this project. He always made himself available for us when we needed him and was able to offer suggestions to improve on our original design idea based on his experience in construction. We had originally made the mistake of hiring a family member to assist us with the plumbing rough-ins for a full bathroom as well as convert the heating system to an on-demand hot water tank/boiler. The family member did not finish the work and left us very suddenly with no heat or water in the house and months behind our projected end date. Jackson was able to step in and take control of the situation immediately and get the project back on track and finish it better than we could have envisioned. It's always difficult with renovations in such an old house, there's always surprises, but he was able to work with everything in the house and allowed us to have the smoothest construction experience.”

This was not a straight forward job, and involved building two exterior walls , a heated crawl space and engineered beams. The completion does not appear to be an “add on” , instead it flows naturally with the rest of the home. “My family and I have used D-Trac Construction on several occasions both on renovations for my residential rental property and for consulting purposes regarding my family owned commercial warehouse. Pat and his crew completed a renovation on my rental property that entailed drywall install, painting and finishing package. During the renovation, they were on-time with the repairs, stayed on budget and worked around my Tenant's schedule and requests. Pat was always readily available to answer any questions and was also kind enough to address some minor water damage issues at no extra charge. Because of the great experience had during the renovation, my family and I hired Pat a few months later to act as Consultant on our behalf regarding our commercial warehouse. With a new tenant in place and issues left behind by a previous tenant, we were required to conduct a Phase 1 Environmental Assessment and Asbestos Analysis. Because of Pat's knowledge and certification in Asbestos and previous Disaster Restoration experience, he was the right Professional to act on our behalf. He was professional at all times in dealing with both Tenants and Environmental Companies and ensured that our best interests were never compromised. I highly recommend D-Trac Construction to future clients for both residential and commercial construction needs.”

“I have used Leenheer renovations for multiple different projects over the last 8 years. The first was on my former house where they came in and renovated an on-suite/hot-tub room off our master bedroom. This required removing the old hot tub, gutting the space and then starting the rebuild. During the process they found and repaired an improperly installed roof vent, clean up some mould growth and properly insulate the attic space. When it was done we had a custom tiled shower w/ glass door (literately designed and built from the ground up by Duane), new sunroof as well as fully modernized bathroom plumbing. A new spaberry hot-tub was installed where the old 8-man tub was. The next renovation involved them installing a second floor and building out some new commercial space. This required designing the space and layout, managing multiple commercial sub-trades as well as dealing with adjacent tenants and condo board. The most recent project we hired them to conduct was finalize the modernization of the basement on our new house. This involved framing out two bedrooms and a theatre room around an existing bathroom. They did everything from framing, to drywall, to flooring (carpet), to the ceiling tile and finally painting. We never have had a problem getting accurate budgets from Duane and them working hard to stick to those budgets (minus a few upgrades and unknowns found during the work). They also do a great job at paying attention to detail and not taking short cuts. Each of my projects has stood out and with a high attention to detail and quality. Have recommend to multiple people including family and friends and have never heard any complaints from any of those recomendations.”
