“My husband and I hired Guy and Decor Builders to convert our 480sq ft detached garage into a 1 bedroom/1bath ADU. I was apprehensive about the process because we had just finished a renovation project on our house with another contractor, and had a pretty bad experience. So I really did my homework when talking with Guy- reading reviews, talking to previous clients, etc. Guy took me to see an ADU he had recently completed, which was beautiful. I also knew I would want to use an interior designer to help select finish materials, and I liked that Decor Builders had someone in-house who was part of the team vs me needing to coordinate communication among separate people/companies. For the most part everything went smoothly. Getting blueprints drawn up went quickly, we met with Anne and toured showrooms to pick out a design plan and materials, demolition started in July. Communication with Guy and Dalton was pretty good, they were usually responsive to questions and concerns as they came up. I felt reassured when Dalton would check on the site and be unhappy about small mistakes the workers had made, because he really was paying attention to the details and felt invested in everything being done right. The workers were friendly, professional, and respectful. Our previous contractor had barely ever shown his face at the work site and was not responsive when a major problem came up, so I really appreciated that Guy was more hands-on and when we had any problems he showed up the same day to check it out and make sure things were ok. We did have some delays (the work was supposed to finish in October, but wasn't done till the first week of January), but some of that is to be expected with any construction project. Overall we're really happy with the work Decor Builders did and would hire them again in the future.”

“I recently had my guest bathroom renovated by IGreen Builders. Ron and his manager Noe were extremely proficient, diligent and reliable throughout the course of the project. I hired Ron after a challenging and an excruciating experience with a previous contractor, whom I had to fire mid-course and the project was left incomplete. The previous contractor failed to waterproof the shower, did a messy installation of the tiles and a faulty job with the plumbing. I had interviewed over 10 different contractors in the Bay Area prior to hiring Ron. Merely looking at the pictures, Ron gave me an estimate of the project, price and the duration. He pulled all the different permits and had them all scheduled in time prior to the agreed up on the project initiation timelines. From the start till the end of project, without fail he would proactively give me daily updates on the workers arrival time, to-do list for the day etc, for which I was extremely grateful as I didn't have to chase the workers, which is contrary to my prior experience with the previous contractor. Ron would even call me on the weekends to update me on what to anticipate for next week. For this alone, I would give him a 10-star rating and I would highly recommend him to all the busy professionals in the Bay Area! More importantly, all the different personnel he employed for this renovation were highly skilled, professional and friendly ranging from plumbers, tile installers, demolition crew etc. They would carefully take their time to explain to me all the specifics of their daily tasks. Also, during this project, as the elevators in my building were down, Ron and his team had to take the stairs day in and day out for about 4 weeks to the 6th floor and not even once have I heard them complaining while lugging those heavy tiles, equipment, waste disposal etc. Furthermore, he even gave me a concession in price over a botched job done by my previous contractor with plumbing. My bathroom turned out spectacular and beyond my expectations. Overall, this is a star team and I would highly recommend hiring this team to all my friends and family!!”
