General Contractors Near Springfield

We purchased a newly built home from this builder and were extremely disappointed with the quality of workmanship and how serious issues were handled. When we moved in, the home was filthy and not move-in ready. Multiple critical items were incomplete or improperly installed. The garbage disposal had no electrical run to it, the sump pump was not connected to a breaker, and the smoke alarms were faulty and had to be replaced. The dishwasher was incorrectly wired to the garbage disposal, which caused it to fail and require full replacement. There were also numerous visible construction defects. Cabinets had large holes and were left hanging on the wall, there was excessive caulking throughout walls and baseboards, broken tiles in corners that appeared to be filled with caulking to conceal damage, and a door was installed while wet, causing it to warp. This was especially concerning given the builder’s claims of attention to detail. On the night we moved in, the builder’s wife came to the home to argue that the sump pump was working properly. Both she and the builder, who was on FaceTime, insisted there was electrical connected to the sump pump and other systems, despite this not being true. After further inspection, the issues were confirmed. Due to the sump pump not functioning, we were forced to stay in a hotel that evening. Overall, the home required significant fixes immediately after move-in, and concerns were initially dismissed rather than addressed professionally. Based on our experience with both workmanship and communication, we would not recommend this builder.

We love TT construction!!! They have the quality!!! They did kitchen remodeling for one of our rentals. The biggest thing about this kitchen is that it did not have space for a dishwasher. The workers cut a space out and did the all the plumbing. It looked fantastic and our tenants are very satisfied. Good job! Well done!

Luis and his team at Lorsa were awesome to work with. They helped me design and execute my project . What I really appreciated was their good communication and how good they were with their schedule . They are my go to contractor now .

Complete remodel of two bathrooms and installation of kitchen counter and sink. Installed two sliding doors and French doors. Everything is beautiful and Lanco Properties could not have been more courteous and professional.

HA Construction has helped me with many projects from conception, to design, to finished project. Andy is always trustworthy and professional. My projects, big or small, have been completed beyond my satisfaction. If you can dream it, Andy can make it happen and make it look good. His prices are reasonable and the work is completed in a timely fashion. I will never use any other contractor!

Ryan and his dad were very nice and extremely professional. They were very good at keeping us updated on the progress they were making. The deck they built is beyond beautiful! We were impressed with the integrity they showed. When we had to make a change in the materials because of lack of availability, they really went to bat for us with the supplier and we were able to upgrade with no additional cost. We would highly recommend them to anyone that is looking for someone to do a construction project around their home.

Travis Miller has a fantastic team of contractors all of whom did outstanding quality work. Travis expertise and knowledge of home construction proved a very valuable asset during our construction. He runs a very tight ship and pays close attention to detail adds in things you wouldn't think of and makes suggestions for design and details all to gain the look of what our dream home ideas were. We have been extremely pleased with the entire process from the first design steps with the architect to the move in and after. He is always prompt, budget conscience and easy to talk to. Should I ever build again, I would definitely have Travis build for me.

Installed new facia, some siding, new soffits, all new gutters, two front porch columns, and all new windows. Friendly customer service. They were accommodating to our particular situation with the purchase of this house. It was not a perfect job, still find little details here and there that were missed, like a downspout not screwed into the wall, some of the aluminum not bent right. I am still finding left over pieces of material strewn about including fasteners. And there was a long delay in installing the columns, partly because of their supplier. Overall they did a great job, the house looks a lot better.

Mike did a great job for me on a huge project removing unwanted overgrowth and old fencing and building a brand new privacy fence from scratch, and also taking on other tasks around the yard as needed. Mike is very hard working, friendly and easy to work with. He is dependable and always shows up when he says he will. He took a nightmare scene from Survivor and restored it to a backyard paradise. I am beyond satisfied.

After having almost a dozen contractors commit to giving us estimates or an acceptable timeline and then just not showing up, contacting us or knowing what they were talking about, we were at our wit's end. Vince and his brother are exactly what they you should expect from a contractor: they show up when they say they will or, if the schedule changes, they immediately email, text or call to let us know what is happening. We have had them working on progressively more complex projects from fixing bad sheet rock work of last contractor to tiling, garage doors and now they are building a shop for us. Vince consistently texts pictures of progress or if there is a questionable step in the process where he feels input is necessary, but he is not annoying or trying to become a best friend. I cannot emphasize enough how dealing with a responsive, communicative, professional contractor has relieved the stress in our lives! Additionally, they give concise bids, IN WRITING and handle all licensing and material issues. The agreed upon price is EXACTLY what we have paid and in the case of this shop project, we pay for each phase of the project rather than "1/2 or all upfront". When the dirt/cement work is completed, we inspect and pay for that, then the framing, then the finish. I wish we had found Vince a long time ago!
