“In a nutshell, Kevin A. gets an A++ review! The longer story is that Kevin has demonstrated integrity, transparency, and honesty in the complete renovation of our Florida Condominium. Kevin’s regular communication, photos, suggestions, and genuine concern were exceptional. As owners, we were able to have design, demo, and construction done almost 100% remotely, knowing Kevin was watching after every detail. In my career, I have worked with many contractors on some very significant office renovations. I have never encountered any contractor who even comes close to the effort and involvement of Kevin as done on our renovation. Thank you, Kevin!”

“This is my honest, unpaid and unprompted review of TEK and their work on our house... 1. Contracting process - they weren't the absolute least expensive, but they completely understood the assignment (i.e.,what we were looking for as described to them), were clear and specific in their quote and provided a fair, competitive, reasonable price for the major expansion and renovation of our house. They set up ongoing calls (and returned calls quickly) and I felt like we were in good hands. (Grade: A) 2. Workmanship - they work with subcontractors, but the people they employ are truly good at their individual disciplines and have worked with TEK for quite awhile. They were professional and polite and seemed genuinely concerned about doing a good job for us. Were there times that things didn't go as planned/expected and might've been frustrating? Absolutely. Did they fix those things once brought to their attention? Again, absolutely. (Grade: A-) 2. Communication/Execution against Plan - this is the area where TEK has some room for improvement. We were still in NJ throughout the renovation of our house, so communication was admittedly a little challenging from both sides from the start. Occasionally, it took a few calls to ensure we were on exactly the same page with respect to how we wanted things to look, placement according to architect plans, etc. There were more than a few times where it was frustrating when we were attempting to get progress photos/updates. That said, I'm pretty sure this whole issue goes away if you're renovating your house and can visit in person occasionally. (Grade: B) 3. Billing - we learned throughout this process that as a customer, you need to keep your own updated, accurate spreadsheet of all work orders, invoices, checks, etc so you can quickly and easily reconcile against TEK's record keeping. If we hadn't done this, it would have been somewhat confusing/frustrating for both parties. Again, some room for improvement (Grade: C+) 4. Administrative Staff - here's an area where TEK absolutely, completely nails it. From Jess in procurement (an absolute ROCK STAR of organization and communication), to John in sales (completely empathetic to the customer, while being urgent to get things done) to Eriberto the owner (who never made us doubt the trust we put in his company from day one), these guys provide the examples that other companies should be following in the home renovation industry.(Grade: A+) While the grades above might not technically collectively seem to add to 5 stars, the complete package - quality, fair pricing and good people - made us extremely happy customers. In the end, our house is ABSOLUTELY BEAUTIFUL and we will no doubt choose TEK again for any future projects.”

“JSS Green Planet does excellent work. For us they tore out a wall fireplace, replaced it with a sliding glass patio door, added an 8' by 2' hurricane glass window high above the sliding door, redid a deck in synthetic planks, tiled a screen porch, installed LVP flooring throughout, painted interior walls and trim, redid a bathroom and redid lighting in kitchen, loft, bedroom and living areas with dimmable LED puck lights. Very professional and we love the results. Jordan's plans and estimates were right-on, Scott's construction was top notch and Jennifer's advice was priceless. We highly recommend them.”
