Shout out to Isaac, Project Manager!! He was in touch with us almost every day. He not only called but came by several days each week to oversee this project. We did a full kitchen remodel and two bathrooms at the same time. His crew Jesus, manual, Kevin and Jorah did awesome work! The remodel included new plumbing and electrical! Also, the tile work in the bathrooms and kitchen backsplash were custom and done by hand! They also finished before the stated time! The complete project was done in less than 12 weeks! If you want professional, and beautiful home I highly recommend 1 Smart build for your project!!!

highly recommend 1 Smart Build. I'm a former home builder from Alameda so I know a great deal about roofing and have dealt with many roofing companies over the years. I retired many years ago and the contractors I had employed in the past were also retired so I searched for a new roofer and luckily I found 1 Smart Build online. They re-roofed my mother's house and did a very professional job in 3 days Start to finish, top quality and a very professional operation. Five stars plus!

1 Smart Build Inc has now completed four projects for us over 2 years for us. A full bath, a half-bath, wood floors and an attic pull-down stairs. We keep coming back because 1 Smart Build bids the project and completes it quickly. The remodel of the full bath took only 6 days; and this was not a kit; this included moving the plumbing, new tub, new tile walls and floor. After 30 years in the same home we have conducted several remodels, including two major remodels that added square footage to our home; dealing with another contractor (who will not take on smaller remodels). We really love the fact that we can count on United Home Remodeling to quickly complete the work. We already have three more small projects planned.

We recently had our 2 bathrooms remodeled by 1 Smart Build and this was our 2nd & 3rd projects. They did a partial remodel of our kitchen 3 years ago. Since it had been 3 years, we did talk to other builders on the first bathroom project with an unique request. We wanted to create an access to this bathroom from outside so our guests will not have to go around the house to get to a bathroom while they are using our pool. Since it’s a small bathroom and there is no space to place a door from outside, we even thought about opening more space into the guest room next to it. But one day we found some pictures online that showed a door from outside opening right into the shower area. We liked the idea so much, so we mentioned it as we were getting the estimate for the projects. 1 Smart Build was the only company who was excited about our idea and said “we could do this”. He took care of all the permits with the city and did a beautiful job. The foreman, Jesus was so nice and did such great work, we ended up asking them to carry on with another small bathroom. Not only are they reasonable with their quotes, The office communicates with us well and listen to our concerns and takes care of them to our satisfaction. No more shopping around for sure for any future remodeling projects. We got 1 Smart Build for good.

The team at 1 Smart Build were top quality professionals. They built us a brand new kitchen in basically 4 weeks, it was incredible. The results were amazing. We got the kitchen of our dreams. 1 Smart Build is a really good construction company that caters to you’re budget and needs. They are also very communicative and supportive throughout the process. 1 Smart Build oversaw the team extremely well and only hired the best. I could not ask for anyone better in this business. Will be hiring this construction company again!

I can't say enough positive things about 1 smart build! They took my 540-square-foot townhome that was falling apart and made it feel like a million dollar penthouse in around 8 weeks flat. We remodeled our kitchen and our bathroom from the ground up. It involved demo, adding a water line, adding new electrical circuits, drywall, texturing, recessed lighting, cabinets, counters, plumbing fixtures, new tub, tiling (even on the ceiling!), and SO much more. Our experience was second to none. The work — all the way from the design stage to installing the final touches — was high-quality, thoughtful, and expertly executed. Not only that, the PHR team was incredibly responsive, kind and just an absolute pleasure to work with. I cannot recommend them enough!

Homeowners Beware! Pictures taken today can prove this is a truthful review. The current workmanship by 1 Smart Build, after being given the opportunity to redo and repair the horrible workmanship, remains incomplete and awful. Bathroom grouting spacing is very uneven, unfinished and never wiped down, tile not level between pieces of tile, baseboard not reinstalled properly or caulked, mess left on the floor, kitchen grout unequal heights with varying color of grout throughout the floor even though it is supposed to be one color and black at that, baseboard never cleaned after removal of prior kitchen floor and installation of a new tile floor, ground level crawl space screens heavily damaged and left wide open for over 3 months and now rats in attic. If you have vinyl planking installed on stairs, be prepared for silver nail heads to be readily visible forever. My experience is that one unskilled worker will appear on a given day. You'll never be told what time the worker will arrive or when he will leave for the day. There will be NO supervision during the day. Isaac will stop by around 8am each day for a few minutes, but it is to chat with me as the owner, not to supervise or review workmanship. No one supervises the daily work as it is being done. Workers are given strict time limits to complete work and that means work is rushed, sloppy and incomplete. The electrician installed a 220 volt line and despite repeated visits to correct mistakes, it too months to get an outlet cover installed. In the meantime, the electrician told me be careful, the uncovered 220 vold outlet is dangerous! You will rarely see the same electrician because its a different electrician each visit. Some are good, some are not. The contract said that all debris and replaced piping was to be removed and hauled away. I was told it had been removed but I never saw the old galvanized piping. So I went under the house and it was all there! They have no comprehension of truth or details. Homeowners, be prepared to do all the supervising work yourself and document, document, document because you will be gaslighted and told that the unskilled workmanship is beautiful.

1 Smart build treated us like family and our home like their home. They converted our 2 car garage into a beautiful, efficiently designed, ADU. They stand behind their work and went the extra mile to make sure we were happy with the results. am very happy with the work performed by 1 Smart Build, and I am already planning to use them for my future projects! were amazed at how cleanly and quietly they performed this work!

FIVE STAR!!! 1 Smart Build Inc is the right name for this company. My wife and I been wanting to find a company and remodel our Hollywood loft after we got married. We searched all over for the right contractor and landed the job with them. We were so hesitant at first but Isaac was such a great project manager. He was super patient with my wife ( which can be difficult) lol he walked us through the design all the way to the finish, and most importantly he was able to deliver our dream loft within our budget. Highly recommend working with this team!!
