AIS removed an old room and deck and built us a large outdoor room with two pergolas including a large TV wall, fireplace, hot tub, outdoor kitchen, granite counter tops, custom lighting throughout. They did an excellent job! Parks and Aubrey was great to work with and always had good ideas when we needed them. Rodney's crew did the custom framing and always accommodated any changes that came along. They're good people to work with. You can't go wrong using AIS on your next project.

I was so fortunate to have AIS Renovations recommended to me by a friend here in Grove City. I hired them to remodel my kitchen. I was concerned about finding the quality I was seeking based on my budget. Aubrey worked with me, understood what I was looking for, and helped me find tremendous options that worked so well. From start to finish, the project was smooth and easy. Communication was great. All contractors were professional, clean and kind. My project stayed on schedule and on budget. I couldn’t be happier. In March we completed a basement finish with AIS and only have good things to say about the experience! . Jay Girard, the project manager, was exceptional in his attentiveness and responsiveness. Without fail he answered our questions promptly and was a very pro-active communicator. Having built a home and done many remodeling projects, that level of consistent communication is rare. The trades were all great and extremely respectful of our home. The tiling job in our tub/shower area was stupendous! It was a challenging design and they pulled it off beautifully. Justin and Austin, the trim carpenters, really brought it home for us to get us done and in our new space. We are enjoying movies in our media space, working in the new home office, relaxing in our “spa” bath with wine we grabbed from our new wine room. Thanks AIS for a helping us create a great addition to our home!

From the moment we hired AIS to do renovations on our kitchen, we knew we made the right choice without a doubt. They helped in every decision we made from the design aesthetic, to the materials needed to complete the project. They created a project timeline that was closely managed and monitored. A.I.S. Renovations is outstanding! We hired them to do a full bathroom remodel, taking everything to the studs, removing a wall and relocating both the shower and sink. They transformed our small, drab Clintonville bathroom into a spacious, beautiful new space. From start to finish, A.I.S. delivered exceptional service and excellent craftmanship. Aubrey was phenomenal in her design aesthetic and guidance through the initial planning and design phase of the project. She made everything easy and enjoyable, always keeping us up to date every step of the way. The budgeting and contract process by Parks was professional, honest and straightforward. Parks provided a clear budget and his estimate aligned with other bids. While comparable to other contractor bids, ultimately the value A.I.S. provided us in customer service and work quality made their bid the best by a long shot. During the design phase, Aubrey and Parks sat down with us, provided a 3D model of the new design and talked through every little detail we wished to discuss. We are highly detail oriented and meticulous customers. Parks and Aubrey only showed appreciation and patience with us, giving time to talk through specifics and options to avoid as many surprises as possible down the line. The team was upfront from the start about the potential of delays on specific components of the project due to disruptions caused by the pandemic in the construction industry (cabinet shipments, scarcity of glass for shower, etc). They never promised a precise completion date for this reason and I had great respect for their honesty and clear explanations. Once work started they were efficient in their use of time and never had delays or significant days missed. I was impressed with Jay’s coordination and project management when it came time for multiple experts to complete their work (electrician, plumber, HVAC, drywall, etc). They were timed perfectly, one after the other with almost no days missed between them. Jay was highly communicative, texting us once a day with what and who to expect next. Whenever we had a question or concern, he had an immediate answer and resolution. The A.I.S. carpentry team was outstanding. Jason and Austin completed the demo, framing, set the cabinets, installed a new window and completed the finishing work. Their carpentry work was incredible. They built all new baseboards, door frame and window frame to match the original wood work of our 100-year-old house. They even built a beautiful custom bench to cover some HVAC pipes is an adjacent room. They made everything look original to the home. They were on site most days, taking care to keep our pets safe and make our family feel safe. The project came in on budget and we couldn’t be more thrilled with the final results! A.I.S. Renovations will be our contractors for all future projects. We highly recommend A.I.S. Renovations!

Deciding to remodel the bottom half of your house can be both exciting and scary. But from the first time Parks and Aubrey walked through our door until our final walk through the overall experience with AIS was very positive. In the planning stage, Aubrey's excitement for us and vision for our house was invaluable. Our project manager, Jay, was so involved and we couldn't imagine going through this with anyone else. There were so many different people that brought their expertise to the job they were tasked to do, especially Jason and Austin. Their caring and attention to detail was so appreciated. AIS took what was in our hearts and minds and turned it into something more than we could have imagined!

We had AIS Renovation remodel our kitchen and dining room, from the floor to the ceiling including adding a doggie door. Project manager Sean kept in contact to let us know what days they would be working and what would be done. Mike and Billy were here when stated they would be and always congenial. Even to our barking dog. And they always cleaned up after any work was done. Aubrey helped pick out the cabinets, floor and counters and the finished project is even better than we had hoped for. I would highly recommend AIS Renovation and will hire them for any future jobs needed.

AIS Renovations has done several jobs for us over the years. The most recent being a complete kitchen remodel and new baseboards and ceiling finish. We are in love with the look of our newer updated home. Highly recommend!!!

I’ve used AIS for two kitchen and one bath renovation. They are terrific regarding renovation work, consultation and especially communication. They have a terrific crew who are experts in demo, repair, paint and renovation. Parks, the project manager, is very experienced and is a top notch communicator. Excellent work! Couldn’t recommend more! From beginning to end the communication and organization of AIS really impressed me. They did a beautiful job and we are really happy!

We used AIS Renovations for a $24,000 dual bathroom remodel that began in August of 2020. The only bathrooms in our house would be demolished and it had been agreed upon with AIS that they would not demolish the bathrooms until they were ready to start and finish the project as we would have to move out and rent another place until it was finished. We were lucky if AIS came to our house once a week following demolition in August to December. Calls to our initial project manager went unanswered until we finally reached out to the AIS office in October only to find out that our project manager had become seriously ill. AIS did not notify us and we never received another point of contact. In October, Shawn, owner of AIS, promised the bathrooms would be done by Thanksgiving. There was little to no progress. In December we attempted to contact Shawn several times and received no answer from AIS until we reached out to our initial project manager- he promised us “two more weeks.” Nothing had been installed yet except for rough plumbing. After finally making progress, we walked through to discover there was a half inch gap between the shower surround and tub that led to water leaking down under the tub. Any tile work had to be completed twice as it was crooked (shower) or had gaps (floors). AIS Renovations finished the remodel on February 3, 2021, 25 weeks following demolition and nearly 17 weeks over the agreed upon timeline of 8 weeks. Per our signed contract, AIS Renovations was to pull all permits (plumbing, electrical, and structural) and complete all necessary inspections. We received verbal confirmation from Shawn at our final walk-through on February 3, 2021, that all inspections were completed. On April 20, 2022, we received a letter from the City of Columbus stating that our permits had expired signaling that the necessary inspections were not completed and the permits were not closed. After contacting the Columbus Permits Office, I discovered that only a rough plumbing inspection was completed. On May 5, 2022, I called AIS to inform them of this issue. On May 6, 2022, I was informed that they did not retain any copies of the inspection forms and could not confirm that they were completed. After hounding Shawn for three weeks, the plumbing and electrical permits were allegedly completed on May 25, 2022 (although we were not given any paperwork). It has now been nearly two months and the structural inspection has not taken place despite several attempts to contact AIS Renovations. These inspections should have been done throughout the fall of 2020 and completed by February 3, 2021. We filed a complaint with the BBB on June 27th and AIS said they would be finished ASAP. It is now July 8, 2022, and the

Refused to finish the job and repair shoddy work done with used materials. Also damaged area around work and demands payment up front before job is completed. Workers do not speak English so there is no communicating over problems happening during the work in progress. Would not recommend to anyone at all!!

I had a sliding glass door installed in place of a hinged door. They were fast and professional and did exactly what was promised. It was reasonably priced.
