AJD Building Contractors was the General Contractor for a covered lanai we had constructed at our home. This project involved masonry, electrical, framing, and drywall. Al coordinated the subcontractors to keep the project moving. He also stepped in to do work himself, as needed. ADJ provided detailed invoicing throughout the project. We are pleased with the outcome of the project and would recommend AJD.

AJD Building has done numerous projects for us over the years. Al is easy to work with and extremely trustworthy. He is professional, does work as promised and stays within the given budget. He offers creative ideas and alternatives for products and ways to do projects.

We had a relatively complicated job for a screen room in a 60 yr old home that had been modified several times. We had flat roofs on extensions to the house, Fiberglass roof over a screen room and the house needed a roof replacement. AJD came up w/solutions including: 1) tapered insulation, 2) addition of hold down straps for each truss to 3) improvements to the architects designs (with their involvement), 3) custom columns to match our lanai's 'tiki' atmosphere. He put in a custom wood ceiling on the lanai and added skylights and solar tubes to the existing low profile adjoining rooms. When people enter the lanai, the normal first reaction is 'wow'. AJD is very good paying attention to small details and the owner is personally involved in the project. AJD makes appropriate suggestions for improvements that would never occur to the homeowner. AJD is our go-to contractor for home improvements. This is the 3rd major project AJD has done for us.

We interviewed 4 companies for our major master bath remodel. AJD Buidling Contractors was not necessarily the cheapest initial quote, nor could they start the soonest but I have found that quality or workmanship and integrity of the company are far more important for a project of this scope. This was a complete demo down to the studs. Other than a few unforeseen problems during construction that raised the cost of the project, his quote was pretty much spot on for the things that could be known in advance and controlled. I would use them again in a heartbeat. He and his crew were always professional and kept a pretty steady schedule most days during the project.

I needed a Wooden Gable Roof Patio cover approximately 10' X 20' for my patio, fronting my pool, attached to the rear of my home. I chose AJD Building Contractors for the job, after looking at some other projects completed by them and after comparing the bids I'd received. From the very beginning I got the feeling that I was dealing with an honest man who knew his business. Al Denesha patiently spoke with my wife and I on what we wanted and how we wanted it. Plans were drawn up and the project was started. Every step of the way Al made us comfortable with the choice we'd made when we selected AJD Building Contractors. And as we watched the progress of the work, we couldn't have been more happy about the way it was going. The completed project was Exactly what we'd asked for and hoped for, completed in a timely manner at the contracted price. It was refreshing to deal with such a man of integrity who obviously takes great pride in his work. The patio cover with recessed LED Lights, ceiling fan and roofing that exactly matches that on my home, looks fantastic. Everybody's got one of those projects I think; that they would like to have done but the thought of selecting a builder is troublesome because of all the stories they've heard. That was me too. AJD Building Contractors Inc. changed that! Great Job Al!

AJD and Al Denesha did a fantastic job with a complete remodel of our condo. He has photos on his houzz site. We live out of state and his communication was much appreciated. Responses to emails, texts, and calls were always prompt. He gave us several suggestions to keep us within our budget. The quality of work is top notch. ADJ tackled a really hard job, restuccoing over a huge flood plain mega house which was originally covered in wood. The house looks far better than it did when it was brand new, the attention to details was outstanding, nothing went overlooked, very polite crews always, and Al was a real pleasure to work with. Rarely in this coast of Florida have i ever encountered such a high level of professionalism, responsiveness and courtesy. Would recommend ADJ to all. ADJ did a great job on my master bath, which was completely redone. The result is excellent and we are very happy.

Recently did a complete bathroom remodel. Work included demo, framing, electrical, plumbing, tile, cabinetry and minor AC work. AJD did 3D layouts for us to review in advance so we could see the finished product before we began. All the permit work with the City was coordinated by AJD. I think we now have to fix the rest of the house to make it look as good as the bathroom. Highly recommended!

AJD Building Contractors renovated our living room and dining room for us. We knew that we needed to modernize the rooms, open up the space, and create storage at the same time. We had a general idea of what we wanted done. Mr. Denesha worked with us to plan a fantastic built in storage/display area that met all of our needs. Our guests cannot believe the transformation. We could not be happier. We would definitely use AJD Building Contractors again.

Kitchen remodeled. Beautiful design and workmanship! Excellent service and communication. Am so very pleased with all aspects of the project and would highly recommend AJD Building Contractors. My kitchen is even more beautiful than I had envisioned.

As general contractor, Al oversaw the total renovation of two full baths in our condominium as well as the replacement of the doors of our kitchen cabinets. He is honest, detail oriented, conscientious and reliable. If any work was in need of correction/adjustment, he followed through, making sure that the job was done correctly . Al was very helpful guiding us with product choices when additional choices became necessary. He requested quotes from additional subs when he felt the first ones came in too high. We are very pleased with the end results and highly recommend Al as a general contractor.
