We recently worked with American Remodeling Experts (ARE) on some upgrades to our home, including new windows, a new exterior door, a covered deck, and a fireplace wall remodel. Amir and his team were great to work with throughout the entire process. They were able to understand our vision, and the quality of the finished work met our expectations and enhanced the value of our home. The new windows and door have improved both the appearance and comfort of our home, the covered deck has become an amazing new living space, and the updated fireplace wall completely transformed the living room. The crew was respectful, kept the job site clean, and Amir cared about delivering high-quality results and followed up and addressed all feedback promptly to make sure we were fully satisfied. We recommend ARE to anyone looking for reliable, professional remodeling work.

We choose to work with ARE because of Amir’s creative ideas on how to work with a slightly odd kitchen layout and how to make the most of the space. He and his team were great to work, very professional, and easy to communicate with. When something unexpected popped up, the team was on it to get the solution and work done quickly. We just finished a major remodeling project with ARE and couldn’t be happier with the results! We bumped out the old kitchen wall to make it bigger, turned the old dining room into an office, and added a shower to the first-floor powder room.
We got quotes from several companies, and ARE was on the higher end, but we’re so glad we chose them for such an important project. They took care of all the city permits and inspections and connected us with the architect and engineer they regularly work with. They also have great resources for ordering cabinets and countertops, which saved us so much time and headache.
Their designer helped us pick out everything for the kitchen, and they recommended a flooring company to refinish our existing floors and install new ones in the expanded space. The end result is unbelievably beautiful!
The owner, Amir, was super responsive and patient. He paid close attention to details and gave realistic estimates for both the timeline and any potential issues. His crew was amazing—hardworking, smart, and dedicated. They often worked long hours and even on Saturdays. This is a team of people who are passionate and proud of their work.
Of course, we ran into some surprises along the way—like tiles arriving late/damaged, old leaking pipes hidden in the walls, a wrongly installed vent from before, some moldy drywall, and an outdated electrical panel that needed upgrading, etc. ARE handled everything smoothly with their experience and professionalism.
They even replaced two exhaust fans in our laundry and master bathroom for free, and arranged for a cleaning service at the end of the project to make the house spotless.
They really took the stress out of home remodeling. We’re absolutely loving our new spaces! Highly recommend—this is a company you can trust.

We recently hired Amir and his team at ARE for the second time to remodel our home in Sammamish, and I can honestly say they did a fantastic job again! This time, they tackled our bathrooms, renew our basement with new office for my husband and with that our all house was remodeled. The results are beautiful, and we’re absolutely thrilled with how everything turned out.
We decided to go with Amir again because of how great the first project went (that was the main living floor including kitchen), and he didn’t disappoint. They are currently renovating 3 of our neighbors homes. Amir is so easy to work with—he listens, offers great ideas, and really cares about making sure everything turns out just right. He kept us in the loop every step of the way, which made the whole process so much less stressful.
His team is amazing, too—friendly, hardworking, and incredibly skilled. They treated our home with respect and paid attention to all the little details that make such a big difference.
Both times we were able to stay in our house during the work which saved us a lot of money.

Amir, Limor, Sveta, and Johnny of American Remodeling Experts worked diligently to bring my sweet, little 1960s rambler back to life. They took my dark, closed off living area and turned it into a sun soaked, open floor plan. Their efforts involved remodeling and updating my kitchen and bathroom, including removing a load bearing wall with beam placement. The challenging job, from the planning stage through completion, was met with enthusiasm, care, and, above all else, honesty. As with many remodels, particularly remodeling an older home, there were issues we encountered along the way, and the ARE team worked tirelessly with me and their readily available vendors and subcontractors to find speedy and reasonably priced solutions. If anyone is interested in remodeling and redesigning their home, I highly recommend this team. Not only are they true experts at their craft, they are also incredibly wonderful people!

I am incredibly pleased with the result of my bathroom remodel by American Remodeling Experts. Amir and his team were creative, professional, and fast. They came up with a great design that made the space bigger and replaced my old bathtub with a stunning walk-in shower. The new bathroom has a luxurious and modern look that I adore.
They also managed to start the project quickly on short notice and finish it before the deadline, which was crucial for me since my in-laws are moving into my house shortly. They stayed connected throughout the project and informed me of the progress and any challenges that they faced. The only drawback was that the costs went over my initial budget, but that was partly because of unforeseen problems with the house that we had to resolve. The additional expenses were justified to ensure the quality and durability of the remodel.
In summary, I would strongly recommend American Remodeling Experts to anyone who needs a dependable and skilled contractor for their home improvement projects. They did a wonderful job in my bathroom, and I am very happy with their work. I intend to work with them again for future renovations.

Amir and his wonderful team helped us transform our dated kitchen into a beautiful, modern and functional space.
During the initial planning stage, Amir and Hila provided us with valuable insights and suggestions on enhancing the flow of our dining and kitchen areas. This included taking down a large wall, soffit, two pony walls, entry closet, and adding an island to create an open kitchen/dining room concept. Throughout the remodeling, Amir checked in several times to supervise every aspect of the process and was communicative and professional throughout the project, making sure things were going smoothly. We requested some changes to our original design plan and Amir was very accommodating with the changes. He took time to answer all our questions and concerns, gave us advice and recommendations on purchases. As with any project bumps can happen but they were quickly on top of them and had them promptly resolved while keeping the project on schedule. It is evident that Amir is someone who truly cares about his work and in delivering exceptional results and giving his customers a positive experience.
Sveta, their project manager, did an amazing job coordinating and managing the scheduling logistics. She kept us informed and updated throughout the whole process. She was on the job site every time work was being done to make sure things were executed seamlessly and completed on schedule.
Amir had wonderful hardworking people working for him during the course of the project and they were always professional, patient and courteous. It was a pleasure working with Amir and his team who have helped made a stressful project easy. The entire project went smoothly and completed on time in just 6 weeks. The project was executed seamlessly thanks to their careful planning.
We are very pleased with our new kitchen, and we would highly recommend ARE for their excellent communication, professionalism, reliability, and efficiency for any of your remodeling needs.

We hired Amir and his team for a major 2023 remodel (kitchen, master bath, powder room, and 1st-level flooring) and couldn't be happier. Out of 12 contractors interviewed, we chose them for their focus on quality and timeline—and they delivered.
On-Time & Clean: Completed the massive project right on schedule in 12 weeks. PM Sveta provided stellar daily updates. The team kept the site incredibly clean, even using industrial air purifiers to protect the rest of our home.
Exceptional Quality & Design: Amir personally vetted specs to avoid installation issues and pushed us toward bold, functional design elements. His sub-contractors were true professionals who refined the smallest details until perfect.
Unmatched Customer Care: Amir was incredibly patient with our remodeling anxiety, always answering technical questions and protecting our interests—even seamlessly adjusting the schedule around a family medical emergency.
Value: This company was one of the most expensive companies among the 12 GCs we interviewed. We went ahead because we valued on-time delivery and refined quality.
UPDATE (12/2024): Their post-project warranty service was fantastic. When seasonal shifts caused minor settling issues, Amir immediately sent subs to fix them at zero cost to us. We will absolutely use them again for our next project.

We just finished a renovation with American Remodeling Experts (ARE) and it went exceedingly well. Amir and Sveta were a pleasure to work with. The upfront documentation and contracting process laid out the project plan very well. ARE’s crews were polite and did great work in the house during this first phase and we cannot wait to have them back to kick off phase 2. I would definitely recommend calling Amir if you’re looking for a general contractor.

Amir and his team completely blew us away! Overall, they are just great to work with because they do an amazing job at a good price. We had struggled to find a great contractor at a reasonable price here in the PNW. Our neighbors all had a list of contractors they would never hire again, but nobody had a great story. I can tell you that American Remodeling Experts are a great contractor. First, Amir is very easy to work with, and for a techie family it is great that the plans, designs, schedule, and invoices are all online. He had a great idea for a “shower/bathtub stage” in our primary bathroom which we loved. Second, Amir and the team were amazingly flexible when we had an issue with our kitchen sink pulling away from our countertop which was not even part of the planned bathroom remodel. Christian, one of the foremen at ARE, came over to our house on a Friday evening and reattached the sink to the counter and added supports.
As for the work, ARE did a remodel of our kids’ bathroom and the primary bathroom. We were very happy with the design from Amir and the work from Cristian’s team! They kept us updated along the way, brought in very good sub-contractors, and completed the work exceeding our expectations. Throughout the process Amir was available to answer any questions that came up along the way.
If you are looking for a great contractor at a very reasonable price, then you want Amir and American Remodel Experts. They will do a fabulous job and they are great people to work with.

We hired ARE for our kitchen remodel/ extension. Amir was nice and apleasure to work with. He was patient from the start with our project. We hit some bumps on the road that were not always our control but I knew regardless of the issues, Amir will take care of his customers and get the results you want. We lived out of state for a couple months during the Renovation so I had full trust on Amir to take care and run things. The app we used was very helpful specially with me being away. His crew was always nice and hard workers. My kitchen did took longer than expected but it was well worth the wait. The little things Amir took care of were very thoughtful and glad I hired Amir for our home.

I cannot say enough positive things about Amir, Sveta and their crew at American Remodeling Experts. We had heard and witnessed so many horror stories when it came to kitchen remodels but working with ARE was a dream. Not only was our project completed on time (7 weeks) but it was within budget. As the project manager, Sveta dealt with the vendors, worked to coordinate installations, inspected the items when they came in and was able to be present when I could not. If something happened, they took care of it quickly. Amir was also helpful in selecting fixtures and offering up options based on his experience in other homes. His crew was respectful of our space, polite and efficient. Amir and Sveta made sure that we were 100% happy with the results and we are. If we remodel anything in the future, we will definitely use them.

We had a great experience working with American Remodeling Experts on our kitchen remodel project and we are so pleased with the result. Amir has an eye for detail and helped us see possibilities that we wouldn't have considered otherwise. His open and thoughtful communication prepared us for potential issues and helped us avoid significant complications. When hiccups did occur (we do not recommend choosing Home Depot for appliances) the ARE team helped us navigate the situation and we had every confidence that Amir would help us get everything done. Like anyone undertaking a major home remodeling project with no previous experience, we diligently did our research, spoke to friends with experience, heard a few horror stories and finally narrowed our search for a contractor to five contractors. The decision was to put our trust and money with American Remodeling Experts to make our dream come true. ARE remodeled our kitchen, 3 bathrooms and also worked on changing the floor.
Amir was amazing with communication right from the start. He patiently listened to our goals and requirements. Asked questions. Made expert suggestions. Finally, together we came up with a plan of action to accomplish within our budget.
Throughout the project, he was more of a partner to us than a contractor. We appreciate
· his guidance with design ideas, product selection
· setting the correct expectations on the project timeline
· staying within budget, he discussed any variance to be expected much in advance (no surprises)
After the project was completed and payments were finalized, Amir followed up to check if everything was to our satisfaction and jumped into action wherever needed.
In your research matrix you may find that ARE costs more than some other contractors you are considering. However, their quality of work, timeliness and communication skills are awesome. These qualities probably, in our humble opinion, are the ultimate keys to the success of any remodeling project.
Overall, we are very happy with our experience working with ARE. We will be amiss if we did not mention Limor and how she is the backbone supporting ARE and particularly Amir!

We worked with Amir and ARE on a full kitchen remodel and flooring install. Amir was fantastic and 100% involved in every step of the way. Amir and his team offered creative ideas and solutions that we wouldn’t have considered. It was refreshing to feel supported and helped along the way. He and his team were patient and caring as we made decisions (and on more than a few occasions changed decisions). Amir was personally involved in the quality checks and ensured the work that was getting done was to his very high standards. His crews were respectful, timely and did fantastic work. As with any project of this magnitude there are inevitable surprises, and we had a few. Amir was great about being upfront and clear about this possibility before we started, and when a couple of these cropped up, he worked with us directly to discuss options and arrive at creative solutions that stayed within code and never compromised the final look and feel. We also very much appreciated the schedule portal to know and understand what work would be completed when. Overall, we had a fantastic experience with Amir and ARE, and we would definitely look to Amir and ARE for future projects!

I was super nervous about remodeling my kitchen and update my living room, especially while staying in the house with 3 kids during the process. So nervous it took us years after moving in our house.
Amir and his team helped us take the project from vision and initial ideas to a house that feels like everything we wanted, a dream come true.
What I like most about working with Amir and Limor is that throughout the work they were always available, always ready to listen, calling in to make sure we are happy with every step of the work, highly communicative.
Every professional was top notch - plumbing, electric, flooring, everything was inspected by Amir to make sure the work was done properly.
They also made sure we'll stay as comfortable in our house as possible.

Worked with Amir on our first renovation ever and I’m glad we chose to work with ARE. They were a higher bid than other GC’s I met with, but I had a better feeling that they would take care of us during our renovation and I was right. Amir provided us a detailed estimate with payment schedule and access to our project through the Buildertrend app/website, so we had access to docs and the scheduling calendar pertaining to the reno. Any issues/questions we had were addressed promptly and any mid-reno changes I needed were met. His hard working team was nice and respectful to work with especially Ari, Carlos and Johnny who were at our home the most. Now we have a beautiful new and modern master bathroom to enjoy in our home. Highly recommend working with Amir and his ARE team!

Ill start by mentioning that I had received a very detailed estimate from them, price was not the highest and not the lowest, extremely knowledgeable and from the start were trying to save me cost, which I appreciate. They definitely know how to treat their customers, or in my case 'potential customers', by answering their phones, caling me back when I left msgs and emailing daily, and providing me with their estimate so 5 stars just for that. This, BTW, is how I evaluate a contractor's success and performance even BEFORE I hired him. The on;y downside to this positive review is that they are booked and can't start my job right away. We did start the permitting process.

We recently worked with American Remodeling experts to remodel our kitchen and great room (and office and laundry room … ).
We’ve had a great experience starting with scheduling our initial consultation to the final walkthrough after completion.
We had estimates and site visits from a fair number of general contractors and we chose to work with ARE because of how respectful they were of our time - we checked in with a couple of references and this sentiment was consistent. This was really the deciding factor given that their estimates were right around the other estimates we received.
We dabbled with the idea of working with a designer and ultimately chose not firstly because of cost, and secondly because the work that ARE had done in the past looked great. This was in retrospect a good decision because Amir had all these great little ideas that complemented our vision of what we wanted our space to look like. Amir was also able to point out areas where our ideas would just not work from a practical perspective. We preferred this to someone who would just say “yes” to everything we asked for. It was a lot of fun talking through our additions with Amir.
Through the project, Amir was on top of everything that needed to be done. Amir would come out on-site, measure and then measure again to ensure everything was accurate and ready for the next step of the remodel. There were never any “whoops” moments that caused delays in our project.
Amir was fully committed to ensuring a hassle free project. He was always accessible on the phone, was present on-site almost everyday of our 56-day remodel and even offered to come help move some furniture at 8:00 p.m on a Sunday night in preparation for an early start the next morning. He was very patient with our ever-evolving change of scope and was able to move the construction and installation schedules to accommodate these changes.
Overall we’re super glad we got to work with Amir and his team. We also made a friend in the neighborhood in the process. We’ll definitely be calling on him and his team to help us with our future construction needs.

ARE could not have been a worse experience. Grandiose waste of our time and resources. Cost us 2.5 months to never get off the starting line even. What an insult.
Every single meeting they were late by 15-45 min. Let 2.5 months, literally 75 days lapse before arranging the 2nd meeting after we were calling emailing, everything to see their sketches following our extensive meeting of walking them through our needs.......... and after those 75 days, they produced NOTHING. Not the 1st line on a piece of paper - when I had provided them architectural scaled drawings of our existing conditions. This was an easy ask. Amir tried to convince us that they had everything arranged and planned out and all he did was toss out an anticipated budget of $200-250,000 for a project that will likely barely cost $125,000. They did no hand sketches, no plans, not a single thought given to our project although promising they were working diligently on the design for 2 1/2 months. We lost all that time for a project we were ready to begin and now we are way back at square one to find an actual qualified professional to work with. I have worked commercially with hundreds of contractors over the past 35 years in real estate, American Remodeling Experts was far and away the worst experience I have ever had. Stay far far away!

My experience with American Remodeling Experts has been great and I would be happy to recommend them to anyone asking to renovate their home. We are finally over with the construction at our house, and can start enjoying our new extended Kitchen. It took me a few months to seat down and write this review since we had already recommended and referred Amir to so many of our friends here in Bellevue, and that's how much we really feel this company is great to work with. I want to mention that they came recommended to me through my husband's work, and that they are probably more expensive than your typical contractor, but you get what you pay for. Remodeling Experts did my home renovation, and not only was the work completed with craftsmanship but we were treated with caring and a truly professional touch.
We decided to have our first floor renovated with the a major kitchen overhaul. Needless to say, my husband and I were very stressed about the cost, the length of construction, and the overall upheaval of our daily lives. As anyone who has had major construction to your home, you worry about almost everything.
We did some research and decided to have Amir from Remodeling Experts over for an estimate and consultation. Amir was knowledgeable, easy-going, and informative in a way that any novice could understand. He shared his vision for our space, and he truly listened to our thoughts and ideas for the renovation.
We decided to go with Remodeling Experts and Amir for our major renovation. His workers were friendly, professional, and clean! Amir was at our house regularly to go over the process or any concerns we had. His pricing plan was clear and consistent. We felt safe with his staff.
Most importantly the work and finished product was fantastic. New hardwood floors, new state of the art kitchen, professional paint work throughout, new moldings, everything was done with great communication and expert work!!!!

Responsible. Professional. They stand out from all of the other companies I contacted. I had trouble finding a kitchen contractor who would handle my complicated project as I needed to match existing cabinets and tops with relocating the island. Amir, the owner, came himself to see my project, had very smart ideas that I agreed upon. He designated a project manager to manage the remodel and everything clicked like a clock.

We cannot say enough good things about American Remodeling Experts. We hired them to replace our old and dated countertops with a beautiful Quartz that we hand picked ourselves with Amir, and also replace flooring throughout the first level of our and paint all of the walls. The whole process went incredibly smoothly. Everyone from the work team to the back office were a joy to work with.
We have a small baby and had concerns about the appropriate health protocols, as the work occurred during the coronavirus pandemic. We needn't have worried; the team always wore their masks and cleaned up after every day of work. Additionally, we appreciated how transparent the team was as the project progressed. They had initially anticipated ten days of work, not including weekends, and when it appeared as though they would not be done by then, they brought in another worker for the last day to ensure that none of the work extended beyond what was promised. They were also incredibly thorough and made sure all the work was done to not only our specifications but also their own high standards.

We got introduced to American Remodeling Experts through the Issaquah Chambers as we were looking to renovate our entire first floor (The whole kitchen area, entire floor, remove 2 walls non-loading and replacing our fireplace) and had the greatest experience with them.
I remember the first phone meeting with Lenor, then Zoom meeting and then the onsite meeting we really felt valuable to them and our time was respected tremendously as they were flexible with us during these Covid days we are all experiencing. Both me and my wife love pets so our house is full of fur babies all the time and they can be either super excited when the construction team comes over or scared when all the news starts each morning,
and we both were just so thankful for Amir being such a sensitive and creative person. He introduced us to a mobile pet day care that helped us take the pets (3 small dogs and 2 cats) for a few hours each day and entertained them enough so the construction noise was over and they would bring them back home happy and calm. We felt the project was properly managed and well addressed by Amir and his team. We are very happy with our new Kitchen and Fireplace, it's just a dream that came through for us and we are very thankful.

We had a consultation with Amir, just like we had with some other companies out there and we have decided not to continue with our renovation project this year due to the fact that we might relocate within the next few months, however I wanted to mention ARExperts Amir's time that he spent with me and my wife.
I am in the business of service myself (Independent Observation Physician), and I know it's not easy to get back to all of your potential customers, and sometimes you need to choose very carefully who you spend your time on since not all will become paying clients.
However with Amir we received superb service and attention without being asked to pay anything. He became a friend through the time we spoke and consulted (2 months of ongoing meetings and consulting) and we trust him so much that we might just keep our home here and rent another one when we relocate and manage the renovation remotely. Great work by these experts, we are lucky to be able to write this review after hearing other stories from our friends about different 'contractors'. I think that it's not enough to read the reviews online, you really need to meet with the person you are going to hire and trust your instincts.
Amir was that person for us, we felt comfortable and safe hiring him. He began the process relatively quickly as we were both home to work with him on choosing the items for our master bath and guest bath. We find it easy to communicate with him on WhatsApp as you can send pictures, videos and share files as a group!! lovely idea to get everyone onboard imo.
I also know that Amir's company was not the lowest bid we got, it was actually probably the highest we got out of 3 bids, however you get what you pay for and we could be happier with our bathrooms and showers. Kudos & thank you, we already referred 2 of our friends over to you so keep us close to heart for next time around Amir!

I hired Amir (GC) and Darren (Architect) to expand our home with an extra 440sqft of Kitchen and living room space, it really makes our home so much bigger and lighter, I highly recommend to expand if you can afford it. They both were delightful and professional as can get, allowing me to concentrate on my work and family.
The entire process was originally planned to get done within 3 months, but we had some delays with the city of Kirkland due to overload of requests I would assume. Amir and his office went out and above for us, they met with the city for us numeral times in order to expedite and secure the process, which managed to get us a little under 5 months from the moment we gave it all a green light until completion. The actual construction on our home took less than 12 weeks which I was really impressed with.
They kept our home neat and clean as much as possible, were very transparent along the way, had solutions and helped us hire a great designer for all the finishes and design. My wife fell in love with the remodeling process, she is now speaking with Amir about renovating our basement into a 2nd master bedroom so her mom can move in with us next year. The entire family is really excited to have such a huge home to live in, thank you Amir and darren for being such a great team of professionals.

American Remodeling Experts removed a big old jacuzzi to install a small soaking tub. Being a disabled veteran, my husband's safety was of prime concern. The job entailed many facets: plumbing, floor construction, building a bench, tiling. We were very pleased with the results. Now my husband can safely relax in a hot bath. The tiling blends in well and ties the whole bathroom together. During this time of COVID, the workers were diligent about wearing masks. Working with the Veterans Administration was sometimes challenging, but Amir was always courteous and maintained a positive attitude. We are very happy to recommend the excellent work of American Remodeling Experts.

House is much bigger, wider, effient! we have space for every kid now with them being home schooled. We are so happy that we picked ARE for our major kitchen remodel. We had interviewed many contractors before deciding on Amir and the ARE team. The result was that they were on budget, on time and exceeded our expectations. Amir provided us a spreadsheet to track costs and follow the project timeline. He was always available for answering questions, was very flexible about our changes and made sure that the job was done thoroughly, correctly and professionally. One of our main concerns was picking out the materials as that can be overwhelming, but Amir has a great design eye and always pointed us in the right direction. The entire ARE team was exceptionally nice, friendly and professional. We moved out of our house during the remodel and found that they were very respectful of our home in our absence. ARE always went beyond what was expected of them – even cleaning the entire space when they were done so we did not come home to a ton of dust. Love these guys!

So we are now able to write this experience that we have had with ARE. We have chose them to remodel our Kitchen after meeting with so many different contractors. Finally, our dream of having a new kitchen was going to come true! (we had bought our home 8 years ago but never found the right time to remodel, having the kids and work was just to busy for us as is). We have been treated so amazingly nice by Amir, he is just a professional gentleman and straightforward kind of guy. The planning and budgeting phase took some time, it was back in January of this year. Come Feb, things began to heat up with the current Covid-19 situation, that was right when Amir and his crew started the demolition. They worked great, we hardly felt disturbed by the construction, things were going as scheduled. But then, the game changed and we were so scared of not being able to complete the project on time and us being left without a functional Kitchen (we are a family of 5 very hungry individuals:). Words cannot express the gratitude we have for these people, Amir arranged for an alternative refrigerator, stove and cooktop for us (we were changing the entire appliances), so we always had warm food and running water. He did flips in the air to make sure his crew will finish everything so quickly, they all came wearing masks and gloves making us feel protected and safe. He arranged for the cabinets and counters to be delivered asap and just like that they were out after only 3 weeks of intense work. Sometimes luck is more important than anything, we are so lucky to choose Amir for this challenging project. Our new kitchen is just beyond what we ever dreamed of, I am now spending most of my time with the kids in the kitchen making the memories I had always dreamed of. Thank you so much for this, so worth the money and time, we are super impressed and happy.

The design phase was so much fun, we seriously believe Amir when he said he is going to hire us to work with him on future design project ah ah! picking the colors, material and finished items went smoothly. The construction phase was handled super professionally, they handled the permits and all of our new furniture and delivery, our house was taken care of meticulously and on time. We ended up adding extra lighting and 3 windows to brighten up the space. My lovely 1935 home has recently undergone major improvements, which are beautiful as well as practical. The work was performed by Issaquah’s American Remodeling Experts.
My 4 bedroom, 2 bath home has had a great deal of upgrades, including all new electrical panels and wiring, foundation retrofitting, central air and heating, paverstone walkways and driveway,
a new back yard patio, dual thermal windows, new roof, new insulation,
etc.
The kitchen cabinets were installed sometime in the 1950’s and were made of knotty pine and stainless steel counter tops. They looked old
and didn’t do justice to the space.
I had a vision of removing most of the long wall dividing the kitchen from the dining room, to create an open space, where visitors could easily pass from the dining room to the kitchen. I also wanted an arched entrance, with an arch at both ends of the wall. I shared this idea with Amir and he immediately began to design a new kitchen on his tablet. His ideas were very modern, and

We hired American Remodeling Experts for a large kitchen remodel. They did such a great job; we intend to hire them for future projects in our house. We had daily communication with their senior contractor, Amir, via text message and email. He is very detail oriented and great at following up on all the little things. We are very thankful that he managed the project, and we felt very comfortable with him in our home. His crews are very respectful and hard-working, sometimes working until 6, 7, or 8 pm to get the job done. We replaced our countertops, backsplash, gas stovetop, sink, faucet, flange, door hardware, pendants, and glass on our pantry doors. The final product is stunning; Amir shared our vision and helped us shop for items that perfectly fit our theme. At times, Amir even purchased the items for us and got a discount on our behalf (including a 10% discount with a tile company in Florida that he didn't previously have a relationship with). He also came up with a creative idea which we loved: we removed a non-utilized cabinet to use the trim on other cabinets where the developer cut into the trim to install backsplash too high, and we instead put the new Samsung Frame TV in that space. We've had the TV up for the last week and have really enjoyed watching the morning news, football on the weekend, YouTube cooking videos, etc. When we don't have the TV on, we plan to display pictures of our kid, so no, we don't miss the cabinet at all! We also have leftover backsplash tile and Amir knew we wanted to re-do our fireplaces and came up with another great idea: use the same backsplash tile on the fireplaces, tying in the kitchen and family room and making the design seem even more intentional and coordinated. His prices are fair and he is often looking for cost savings. He really made the process less daunting and looking back, I can't imagine doing any of this ourselves. Amir is the guy to call!

We used American Remodeling Experts (ARE) to do full remodels of two bathrooms in our late-60s house. In the first, we replaced linoleum floors with natural stone, replaced and retiled a shower/tub combo and surround, put in a new vanity and sink, and installed a new electrical outlet and ceiling fan. In the second, we ripped out part of a wall, moved shower plumbing, and installed a gorgeous walk-in shower (tiled floor to ceiling) in place of a small prefab stall shower, including framing in a new horizontal niche in the shower that we absolutely love.
I have to say we are definitely happy with the work they did in both bathrooms! Amir was great and friendly to work with, and a real stickler for details (which is good as the homeowner!). The actual contractors working in our house did excellent work and were very courteous, thoughtful, and asked questions to clear up any doubts. Even in our older home where we did come across a few surprises (missing supports under the floor, chewed-up insulation with critters), Amir and the team made the process really painless, and they were quick to resolve issues as they came up. Our lead contractor even went so far as to make flooring transition strips himself so they’d match our woodwork.
In terms of cost, ARE isn’t the cheapest, but they’re also not the most expensive. They were definitely on par with the majority of quotes we got from other contractors. I would absolutely recommend them to anyone looking for some remodeling work!

We recently moved to our new house in Kirkland after husband work got relocated. The house we purchased was small and not so up to date so it was clear we needed to renovate as soon as we got the keys. It was so hard to interview so many contractors and manage the appointments with them lol, until we met ARE here and it all just made sense for us. We chose them, ended up adding an room addition and expanding our current kitchen layout, Remodeling the entire second floor and adding one more bathroom to my kids bedrooms. Very happy with the communication, service and quality of work that we got! The team was great, very responsive and responsible, we truly felt like we were taken care of from A to Z. Already referred you guys to my neighborhood moms, thumbs up people.

My wife's entire family is from the area, we have spent a lot of time here lately and the hotel/airbnb has been getting pricey so we have decided to purchase our first vacation home in west Bellevue. We got referred to Amir and his team through a family friend that was very happy with his work. Just now we have completed our Kitchen remodeling project which needed a lot of attention since the house we purchased was built in the 50's and was never remodeled (!!!). Yes. Now they are remodeling our 2 bathrooms on the 2nd floor and things are going great (considering touching up the guest bathroom downstairs if we can afford it), very happy with everything and everyone who works at the house. I am flying in and out to check on progress and most of the time doesn't even have to be here, Amir is videoing and recording the process for us which makes us sleep very good at night. My husband and I have wanted to remodel our master bathroom for some time. We'd never taken on such a large project before and knew we wanted and needed professional advice and expertise. We did our research, received five different estimates, and met with each company face to face about our ideas for the space. Each estimate was relatively close in cost. What really solidified our decision to proceed with AHR was the promised specialized customer service we would receive during the entire process. As first time "home remodelers", this was a huge selling point as we would need as much guidance as possible.
A project manager personally gave me advice during the tile/fixture selection process and was in constant contact with both the plumbing and tiling professionals. Juan Martinez and Juan Moreno were an integral part of my project and and their expertise was phenominal! I truly felt like I was in the best of hands and it made this process so much more comforting. Losing the use of my master bathroom was longer than anticipated but the quality of work was worth it! Juan Moreno took extra time with my project, even staying longer than anticipated to make sure every detail was tended to.
Juan Martinez is a superb plumber and went over and above to make sure my project was perfect before it was completed. His team accomodated my evey request and it was apparent from a very early time that his leadership was strong and of the highest quality.
My master bathroom is fantastic, it's everything I anticipated and more! If you're thinking about remodeling any part of your home, consider speaking to AHR as part of your research process. It will be worth your while to hear what they have to say!!

Amir from American Home Remodeling managed our bath remodels, all three of them. He was professional, attentive, and enthusiastic as were the workmen who did the work. When there were problems Amir worked to immediately correct the issue. While I realize these projects can be difficult to coordinate, there were a few more slow-downs in the projects than I was happy with. The end results were wonderful, however.

Our small project was mostly electrical work, with a bathroom vanity thrown in as well. Ran into a number of hiccups on each piece of work, so I'd recommend staying around the house while things get done. But by the end of the project, things do look pretty good.

I recently hired American Home to remodel a 200 sq ft area in my basement that I wanted to finish. This involved putting insulation, drywall, painting, baseboard, and opening a new HVAC vent. From the beginning, the general contractor, Ben, impressed me with his punctuality and interest in his customer. He really showed a sincere interest in getting the job done quickly, with quality and in getting high customer satisfaction. He worked with me on getting the details of what I want, and was in regular touch with me during and after the project completed to make sure everything went well. The project took about 5 days and he helped point me in the right direction to get new doors installed to my crawlspace. Overall, I was very happy with the quality and timeliness of the work. Definitely recommended.

Our project was remodeling our living room and kitchen. I must say that my experience with this company only grew to become more pleasant and more worthwhile as time flew by and as I saw how they truly deliver on their word of quality on all their work. Each step of the way American Home Remodeling helped me gain knowledge and confidence in executing my home projects, they helped my wife and I come to what I feel is a substantial and amazing end result to my overall value and look of my house. Been thinking about remodeling our Seattle home for a few years now. I accidently found American Home Remodeling while they were remodeling my neighbor’s house! I loved what I saw as I witnessed the progression of their work and contacted them to come and answer a couple of questions on our Kitchen just to see where we stand. We wanted to remodel the kitchen and bathroom for years! Amir and his team came to look at my house. A few days after, he called us and set an additional meeting with us to show us his ideas and prices. The remodeling project started a week after we agreed and signed all the documents and it took them less than a month to complete it. American Home Remodeling did such wonderful work. The kitchen came out beautiful and very functional while the bathroom got his new look and design. They paid a lot of attention to all the details of the work. I cannot thank you enough for the job that all of you did! We are thrilled and highly recommend working with this company on any projects for your home.
