A car came through the wall of our little thrift shop. The building inspector required us to completely shut down due to structural damage, noting that it would take weeks to complete the repairs that now involved engineered drawings, permits and approvals. We were referred to Anchor Rock Construction who came out immediately to assess the damages. They not only made our little shop a priority, they took the lead in working directly with the inspector to temporarily build a wall so we could re-open (not weeks later, but literally within 48 hours). A permanent solution will be completed once the approval process has been completed. We cannot say enough about Anchor Rock, we know this was an extenuating circumstance so we are not saying that when you consider using them they will drop everything and come work on your project. What we are saying is that this company operates with such integrity. Every person we came in contact with is professional, kind and compassionate. People are their number one value. Their quality of work is excellent. There is pride in their work, keeping the work site clean and organized. Communication is a top priority for them, we understand the process and are clear on what the responsibilities are on our end and what is taken care of on their end. I selected Anchor Rock Construction to build my 36x56’ outbuilding. I worked with Steve Boss on the project and can’t say enough about his responsiveness and dedication in completing my building. We ran into some ground water issues in digging the foundation and Steve was quick to contact the appropriate people to assess the situation and find a solution to keep moving forward. Steve did a great job of keeping me informed of the project status and kept an open line of communication between us. He and his staff were very reliable in showing up to the work site and completing the project in a timely manner. I would absolutely hire Steve and Anchor Rock again.

Five star ratings from me are hard to come by. Steve and his crew earned a 10 star rating from me. There are many factors for me to give them that rating. This rating might ramble on a little but if your willing to read this you will understand why. When you have someone enter your home no matter how you slice it, it is invasive. Your personal space is no longer protected. The honest and trustworthy way they professionally went about there business and the type of quality people they are very quickly put our fears and concerns to rest. They took my wife and my concerns to heart during the planning and execution of the remodel/addition we had them do. In the middle of the repair process the covid-19 pandemic hit and they found a way to make our home livable until they could return to finish the job. There is a old saying that says, “every one has a plan until they get punched in the noise”. Steve and his crew faced the challenge head on and did the job as true professionals. They adjusted smoothly to changes in the plan and where very helpful in giving some ideas when we had a hard time piecing together some details to complete our vision. We had to blend old and new on a budget. Now we have a look that is seamless. It looks like it all was planned together at the same time. The building trade market is currently flooded with guys who don’t really know what there doing or are just dripping there toes in it to make fast money. Because of high demand and lack of qualified people it extremely difficult to know who to trust. One of our building inspectors said it best when he said; “you never have to worry about those guys, they always do the job the right way”. They did it the right way when it was extremely challenging to do so. You know if they do it the right way when it’s hard they will always do it the right way. Trustworthy, professional, flexible, quality work from quality people all done when it was tough to do so. That’s why I can say 10 stars.
