ARA repaired the cover over my hot tub it needed a lot of work, Dave came over and a great job

Livingroom, hall/stairwell remodel/remove wood burning stove/patch floor/ceilings/roof. Disturbed by neg comments: Employer stated “This job is beneath me!” Not detail oriented and cuts corners. Contractor in regards to unlevel floor patch with ½ gaps on three sides:” I’m putting my foot down! I refuse to sand & level it! It will be covered by carpet (trim or shingles) so doesn’t matter! If we wanted it to be level, we should have used a different material!” (So why didn’t you???). Eventually, calked and sanded to appease. Afraid roof patch also has gaps. Two dust barriers in place only four of the eleven days needed. As a result, a thick layer of dust covered everything in the house! Husband removed carpet staples as employee failed to do so. Also removed wood burning stove from the basement and gave away; cleaned up after employees daily. Contractor refused to compensate. Contractor stated: ” That’s money out of my own pocket! I was going to recycle it!” Bid never stated anything about that! Bid also excluded basic items such as handrail brackets, doorknobs, electrical hardware, light fixtures, the painting of four door jams, skirtboards, inside closet finishes/trim, wall corner trim, etc. (NOTE: purchased own carpet as this was not included in bid either). Increased contractor fees tacked on at the end of remodel.

ARA installed hardwood floors in my downstairs. There was some extra work involved to level the concrete floors. They spent a day grinding them level, The employee worked clean as possible and left it clean when he was done. The work was done on schedule and done for a very fair price.I would recommend ARA construction for any of your remodel needs.

Responding from previous review I told the customer I would come and replace the twisted boards but they blame them all on me even though the weather has caused them to twist. Before I knew it the wife and the husband go and put a nasty review on my website at that I have no problem repairing any work that is lack of craftsmanship it’s really hard to get a warranty for lumber warping..

We had ARA construction complete a purgala last summer. We enjoyed it and it looked good. By December we noticed the boards were twisting. I called Rudy and un fortunately he did not stand by his work. He wouldn't even give a quote to fix the problem. Now that it has warmed up. We are working on the purgala and noticed that the board were not even nailed in on both sides or use galvanized nails. They didn't even try.

We had Ara Construction build a pergola on our patio. We loved it. However after several months about 7 of the 12 foot boards twisted and pulled up on the side that was just nailed down. The other side was braced with hangers. We contacted Rudi and he wasn't pleased with that we called him on it. "Boards will twist." We asked if he would come over and look at the situation in the afternoon. He came over while we were gone in the morning. He texted back and forth about what he was willing to do and we ended the text with asking for a quote. After several weeks we have heard nothing from him. I will no longer give him anymore of my money for construction. Debating weather to take him to small claims court. Not sure if its worth my time.

Completely rebuilt my main bathroom, including new bathtub, tiled walls, floor, new vanity and fixtures. Everything exactly according to my wishes. Dave did the whole job in 13 days. Clean work, always on time, trustworthy. They did it all-the plumbing, electrical, tile, walls. I recommend this company.
