As far as cancelling the next day. You made a purchase and signed a contract on 8/4/18. Two days later, on 8/6/18, you agreed to UPGRADE your order via text message with your Salesperson which you confirmed (see attached photo). We then placed the order for materials. You then left us a voicemail (which we have on file) on 9/1/18 explaining your intent to cancel. This gap from time of your Change Order to Cancellation left us no time to stop materials from shipping. We explained that we would allow you to cancel even though you ordered a custom shower system - however you would be required to pay a 20% restocking fee. I understand you did not like what our Controller told you. I apologized to you that the Customer Service Manager, who reached out to you in response to your voicemail, said that he would try to get that 20% fee reduced for you. He did not have that authority and that we have a Company Policy and that every customer is treated exactly the same.
I'm sorry you decided to cancel your order almost a month after you placed your order. Things happen. We understand and we have no hard feelings. We wish you the best of luck with your project.
