Your project launched on February 27th, 2020, one month prior to the Covid pandemic ravaging the world. The construction industry, as most industries, dealt with unprecedented challenges. Our company and our trade partners adjusted to manpower shortages due to workers or family being sick, material delays from factory slowdowns, unresponsive City officials, vendors shuttering their operations, and the list goes on. Your project was affected, and some mistakes were made; however, we never wavered nor stopped working until your project was 100% complete and beautiful. In multiple cases, we went above and beyond performing significant remodeling work and maintenance to your house for free, in attempt to rectify the situation.
Prior to beginning your project, you informed us that your preceding 5 remodels had gone badly. Looking back, we neglected to ask ourselves a most important question, “how is our approach going to be different and provide a satisfied result when your previous remodeling projects went poorly?” We missed this red flag, and we would have been better served passing on your project and avoiding this most certain outcome of unwarranted negativity. Your comments are not shared by the thousands of happy Basements & Beyond clients; but you taught us a lesson on the downfall of believing, that despite your previous remodels being negative, that our outcome would have been different.
Thank you for the opportunity to work with you.
