Our full kitchen renovation project was recently completed by Bencar Building Systems LLC and we couldn't be happier. From beginning to end they are a fantastic contractor to do business with on this type of project. Their attention to detail was obvious from our very first estimate appointment and continued the entire way through the project. We have worked with many contractors over our 24 years in our home and have dealt with several contractors who act like they are doing you a favor, don't follow up, and don't adhere to schedules. Bencar is collaborative, responsive and attends to every detail. When we started exploring contractors for this job we approached two other kitchen remodeling companies and they both presented obstacles at the outset with poor follow up, not listening to our goals or worse designing the kitchen they thought we should have instead of the one we wanted. Bencar was the obvious company to work with right from the beginning as they explained in detail how they would perform the job, walked us through the process, referred us to the team at Bender in New Haven for cabinets, counters and fixtures as well as a great kitchen designer in Daryl. The planning stage was incredibly smooth. The construction phase was equally smooth with our crew of Evan and Rocco with support from Lisa, Mark, Nancy and Cody in the office and in the field. Bencar has a great reputation in the area and they lived up to that reputation. Within two hours of day one of construction we knew for certain we had made the right choice. Everything was so wonderfully executed and it was impressive how seamlessly all the different parts fell into place from deliveries, to tradesman arrivals, to demolition and on site necessities.Very clean work and absolute respect for our home. We had very high expectations for the finished product and we can honestly say the finished product has exceeded our expectations! Kitchen Remodel My wife and I purchased a Condo in Wallingford Connecticut just about a year ago, everything was great, but the kitchen needed to be updated/remodeled. We called Bencar Building Systems met with the owners Mark and Nancy to go over the details/possibilities of the kitchen makeover. They were very easy to work with, very knowledgeable/helpful with idears and information of things that could be incorporated into our concept of what the new kitchen should look like. It was important to us to have a complete Turn Key Process. So we hired them to do the job and here are the things we liked/loved about the company. They are extermely organized, professional in every aspect, the primary team of workers on our project, Evan and Roco, were highly skilled, caring, personable, trustworthy, organized respectful cohesiveness with the sub-contractors (plumbing, electrical, tile, counter tops, cabnets, flooring, fixtures just to name a few) and a flawless execution of the project schedule of events to complete our new kitchen on time. End results, we have and enjoy a high quality, beautifully crafted kitchen that we our extemely happy with. When we needed a bathroom remodel we were very impressed with the professionalism exhibited by Bencar. Mark and Nancy were on top of the job from start to finish. We really enjoyed that there was a start and end time and somebody showed up daily. Mark & Nancy were very responsive and everything was taken care of quickly.
