Bethesda Contracting is a family run home remodeling company, now in its second generation. Started by brothers Michael and George Thiede, Bethesda Contracting has been renovating homes in the Bethesda, Chevy Chase, NW Washington DC and surrounding neighborhoods since 1986. Marianne, Michael's wife, has been the office manager since the company started, and will probably be the one who answers your phone call. Mike Jr. joined the firm in 2006. Hundreds of home owners and architects have depended on Bethesda Contracting to turn their renovation and remodeling projects into reality. Our principals' commitment to quality workmanship at a fair price has given them a great reputation in the community in which they live and work. This is just one of the reasons Bethesda Contracting has so many repeat customers. The older homes of the area often present challenging construction problems: small kitchens, dated bathrooms, and cramped layouts.
