Big Horn Remodeling

Big Horn Remodeling saved us from a nightmare and gave us the bathroom of our dreams. For years, we dreamed of remodeling our master bathroom. We'd come to loathe the standing shower and garden tub and wanted to replace them with a curbless shower and a drying area. We learned the hard way that you need a lot of skill and experience to install a curbless shower correctly. We (unfortunately) started this project with a different contractor. The work was so obviously and dangerously subpar (litigation is pending) that we fired them mid-job. We called Big Horn Remodeling to come give us an assessment and an estimate. Nathan came out the following day and talked us through what needed to be done and why. This was not our first remodel, and our experience with them was so much better than anything we had experienced before. From start to finish, the communication was amazing. We knew exactly what was happening and when. We knew EVERY DAY who was going to be in our home, and it was the same people from start to finish. They employ their own crew instead of subcontracting the work, so there is a level of accountability that you don't see with other companies, IMO. Nathan checked in with us daily and encouraged us to ask questions of him and everyone who worked on our project. Because of the nightmare we went through with our previous contractor, we had A LOT of questions and scrutinized everything. To say that we were anxious and needed extra hand-holding would be an understatement. Standing in the bathroom now, it's hard to believe that it's ours. That first shower when it was finished was the best shower of my life, and I truly believe that it would not have happened without Nathan and Big Horn Remodeling. Seriously, look at the before-and-after photos. This bathroom is by far the nicest part of the house, and we still make friends and family look at it when they come over. Hm... we should probably stop doing that soon. :-D It is hard to find companies that you can trust anymore, so we cannot recommend this one enough. Our guest bathroom is the next room we are going to remodel, and the only company we will call is Big Horn.

Great job on our bathroom remodel. Everything came out better than we expected. The shower and tile look amazing and the crew was very easy to work with.

Big Horn Remodeling did an awesome job on our bathroom remodel. There were a lot of custom details that I honestly didnt realize would take so much planning, but they handled everything really well. One of my favorite parts is the floating bench in the shower and the extra long shampoo niche. The niche was going into what turned out to be a load bearing wall, so instead of just cutting into it and hoping for the best, they actually brought out a structural engineer to figure out the correct beam size. That made me feel alot better knowing it was being done the right way and not just covered up behind the tile. We also went with a huge 86" custom glass panel/enclosure and it completely changed the look of the bathroom. It makes the shower feel way bigger and gives the whole bathroom a really clean high end look. There were a few little things that came up along the way, which I think is pretty normal with a remodel like this, but Big Horn was always good about explaining what was going on and getting it taken care of. Really happy with how everything turned out and would definately use them again.

Big Horn Remodeling completely transformed our kitchen — opened up the layout, installed quartz counters and shaker cabinets, and the tile work is honestly the cleanest I've seen. Nathan and his crew were professional, communicative, and finished on schedule with permits pulled and final inspection passed the first time.

We hired Big Horn Remodeling for a full kitchen remodel after interviewing four other contractors. The thing that stood out from the first walkthrough was how specific Nathan was about scope — he flagged the existing electrical panel as a likely sub-panel upgrade before we even started, priced it as an allowance, and there were no surprise change orders during the project. We removed a wall to open the kitchen to the family room, added a 9-foot island, replaced the cabinets with semi-custom shaker, and put in quartz countertops. The crew showed up when they said they would, kept the rest of the house protected with plastic and floor coverings every day, and Nathan walked the project with us at each major milestone — demo, rough-in, finish, punch. Permit was pulled under his Nevada license #0091383 and final inspection passed on the first walk-through. Closeout included photo documentation of everything behind the walls, which we appreciated for future reference. Would absolutely hire them again for the bathroom remodel we're planning next.
