We just finished a kitchen remodel/first floor refresh with Borowske Builders. I cannot say enough positive things about the outcome and the experience. Dave was incredibly easy to work with and was very responsive and helpful throughout the process. All of the subs were professional, courteous, and respectful of our house and our time. The house turned out beautifully, in no small part due to the assistance and expertise that Dave provided. I would highly recommend Borowske Builders, and we will certainly be using them for any future house renovations.

We had major ice damning over the winter that caused interior and exterior damage to the house. After reading such glowing reviews and finding a local contractor we called Borowske out for an estimate. The person who came out seemed knowledgeable and offered to speak with our insurance company as there was an open claim. Following that conversation our insurance policy was threatened to be dropped and we never heard from the estimator again, despite several attempts. We found another contractor who did an amazing job and cleared up the miscommunication with the home owners insurance. The amount of stress that Borowske caused in an already stressful situation was absurd. Be careful if you decide to trust this company with your home.

Don has his team did an excellent job on my recent major kitchen remodel. I could not be happier. Quality workmanship, helpful suggestions in the design process, great follow-through, cleaned up as much as possible each day, and kept my kitchen down time to a minimum given the magnitude of the job. Once they got started it was full steam ahead until they were done. Don was always keeping an eye on the job's progress, was available via text and phone and got back with me in a very timely manner. Many of the contractors have worked with Don for many years and had very positive things to say. They were friendly and respectful of my home and schedule. MInor issues that arose (you have to expect them on a job this size) were attended to promptly and to my satisfaction. Before hiring Borowske Builders, I read their reviews and received a verbal recommendation as well; all the positive comments I read/heard held true in my experience.

David and his team build a wonderful deck on our home. Quality was outstanding. David always kept up to date on the project progress and plan. Borowske Builders is a very professional group which we will be using again in the future

I just came upon the Borowske Builder website here. They did 3 projects (4 actually) in the past. A complete addition in Pepper Pike and then adding on a deck. Then an interior remodeling in a different Pepper Pike residence. And finally, they did a complete addition in Orange that involved an interior tearout and redesign and addition that doubled the size of the house, very affordably and all first rate. I've found Don, his son, and their company to be first rate, quality-wise, and to be sensitive to cost considerations when it was important. I also found them easy to work with, honest, dependable, and straight-forward. All the work done has held up well and still pleases me.

We completely remodeled a kitchen and bathroom, and added various other small things around our house that needed finished (such as restructuring a closet and finishing moldings throughout the house). We called Borowske Builders after attempting to get multiple estimates for our project. Don came out to give us an estimate, and listened and wrote down all the details of the project that we wanted included. He paid great attention to all that we told him, and we had our estimate that day. We started the project on time, and his crews were out each day, at the times they said. They were all very polite and respectful, and worked the entire day that they were there. All crews stayed on schedule, and we finished ahead of the time frame I had initially thought. Whenever we ran into any problem, it was immediately addressed. I was in contact with Don almost each day, and never had any problems reaching him when I had questions or needed to speak to him. We stayed on the budget that we initially were estimated, and there were no surprises throughout. Also, very much worth mentioning is the cabinet maker that Don uses - Ken at Colonial Cabinets. The cabinets he constructs are absolutely beautiful and well made. These are custom made solid wood cabinets, that are well above the quality of anything we had seen in stores. This was a remodel that we had spent years planning, and I absolutely love my new kitchen and would not change a thing. I would definitely hire Borowske Builders for additional projects that we would have, and highly recommend them to others.

My wife and I decided to add a roof over part of our patio. We went to the Cleveland NARI Home Show and spoke with several contractors. I got the impression from some that they really didn't seem to be that interested in doing our project. I met Don's son at their booth and he gave me his undivided attention and genuinely seemed to be interested in what we wanted. Also, his ballpark estimate was more reasonable than many of the other contractors. A couple of months later when my wife and I decided to proceed with the project, Don came out and spent as much time as was needed to discuss what we wanted and made some great recommendations on the design and what options we could do. Also, his price was very reasonable and all though I had not yet gotten a final quote from anyone else, he was much less than the ballpark figures I got from other contractors at the show. We originally scheduled for a 2-3 week project starting at the end of June - beginning of July. He called me at the beginning of June and had gotten an opening in his schedule and was able to start the project early, thus allowing for the project to be completed 2 weeks ahead of the original schedule. The work itself is awesome. The roof is attached and the siding matches my existing home siding. It looks like the roof was originally built with the house. He also put in an outdoor fan/light and wired a control switch in the house that makes it easy to use the light/fan. I have dealt with other contractors before and the one main thing that stood out more than anything was his communication. 80% of the time he answered the phone when I called and if I got voicemail and left a message he usually called back within 1-2 hours. He always let me know when they would be out to work on the house and I never had to guess "where are my contractors!" This is true professionalism!. I would use Borowske Builders again! A+++++

I contracted this company after reading very good reviews at Houzz. Met David and he came across like a good guy, with sound ideas and creativity. The project we started (and haven't finished after approximately 3 months) is a simple grilling area that cost around 20K. The price is fair, compared with other estimates I got. However, the quality of the job is beyond bad. Facts: Wood used for the counters is almost rotten (after less than 2 months of installed). I chose wood in agreement with David to avoid heavy material on the grilling area. What I did not agree with him is to put the cheapest wood available in the market. The one he installed is what is used for fences, pressure-treated. The sink that was installed in the countertop is loose: it was never attached and is already separated from the countertop surface. The grill: I brought from Argentina all the cast iron pieces to build a grill around it. I gave him instructions countless times, even offer to show him a video on how to install it. He told me that was not needed; "I got it", he claimed... The chimney that comes with it touches the wooden canopy, making it a fire hazard. The grill floor broke after grilling twice: he put limestone, that obviously does not stand fire. Broke into pieces but, worse than that, took me forever to have Borowske Builders call me back to fix the issue, despite knowing this was a major construction error and smoke and fire were coming from underneath the grill surface. David does not answer phone calls once you paid, is absolutely careless and, perhaps worse, ignorant in what refers to building. Make all efforts to avoid this amateur, who can't probably fill his dad's shoes.

I hired Borowske builders on the fine recommendation of friends that had worked with this builder. I was very impressed on the initial consultation as I felt Mr. Borowske gave me specific information about the addition project I was considering. I felt confident about the project, and felt I would have my ideas transformed into the room addition I was seeking. From beginning to end, Mr. Borowske kept me informed on progress and details of the work. My questions and concerns were answered promptly, resulting in a beautiful t finished room addition/deck All parties that worked in my home were respectful and did outstanding work. My room addition is beautiful and met all my expectations due to the the professional work of the Borowske building team!

I can't speak highly enough of Borowske Builders. Don Borowske designed and oversaw the construction of a beautiful four-season room for our home in 2012 that is admired by everyone who sees it. We had them return in 2015 to oversee changes in our master bathroom. Borowke Builders are: professional, timely, detail-oriented, courteous, respectful, and dedicated to customer satisfaction. I am glad to recommend them after being pleased with two significant home addition and remodeling projects.

28 years in the home building and remodeling business says it all. Don and Dave always have the customers best interest. Attention to detail and quality craftsmanship are two qualities that allows Borowske Builders to obtain new business solely from referrals and repeat customers. It's a pleasure to do business with them..

Borowske builders Demo'd the existing old sun room ( three seasons) and built a new structure ( four seasons) with new windows, patio door, siding, roof, sky light, baseboard heating, electrical outlets, ceiling fan and tile floor. We are very happy with it and enjoyed working with Don and his crew.
