Braden Construction, Inc.

We have hired Braden Construction for two projects. A kitchen renovation and an exterior project consisting of new stone facade, new deck, and paver patio. Their project managers and site supervisors are very good at communication. The quality of subcontractors they use are top notch (hard to find on your own). They are upfront and transparent on cost estimates, take care of all permitting, clean-up, and coordinating of inspections. Highly recommend them for projects needing quality sub-contractors and management.

We had Braden build two cabins for us, and remodel our home. In all cases the quality of their work was excellent. They were reliable, hardworking, and interested in doing the best job possible. I would highly recommend Braden Construction for any building project you might have!

My wife and I have used Braden Construction twice : some remodeling our log house in the 90`s and in 2019 for a larger family and Television room. They did an EXCELLENT JOB on both projects. Braden Construction has done four projects for us over the last 10 years. The first was a large repair of a previous remodel. We were so pleased we had him do a basement kitchen, then a new upstairs bathroom, and most recently a bath remodel. Their employees and sub-contractors were very professional, and the projects were completed on time. We have recommended them to several friends, who have all been equally satisfied. Andy is very conscientious and his attention to detail, as well as ability to deal with the inevitable unexpected was great! I also found that he was very attentive to the budget and notified us in advance if there were new decisions that had to be made. Andy always used what I felt were higher than average quality standards for construction and finishing. He would describe what was the "industry norm", and then explain other options to us, and why he recommended them. This wasn't "up- selling" and gave us quality structures that have definitely held up better than the "industry norm". We have hired Andy for multiple projects, the first of which was nearly 15 years ago. Our projects with Andy show almost quality or workmanship defects even in the oldest project. The few issues that we have experienced were associated with the approaches that were available at the date of the construction not being (obviously) as good as what we see today. Andy worked with us to upgrade to a newer approach on a single roof flashing that is today's recommended standard. Based on what I have seen, the other contractors don't bring the longstanding quality that Andy and Braden do.

Braden Construction has worked with us on two remodel projects in the past 15 years. Their workmanship is outstanding. Materials are high quality. Our first home remodel was even featured in Better Homes & Gardens Magazine! Braden Construction has a complete professional team, from the designer to electician. Once work began, workmen were at our door every day until the job was complete and that sets Braden Construction apart from other construction companies. Both remodel projects were completed on time and on budget. We are already looking forward to remodel number three! and would highly recommend Braden Constuction for any remodel job.

We have used Braden Construction for several projects at our home, most significantly a major remodeling. They are extremely responsive and detail orientated. All work was completed on time and exceeded our expectations in terms of quality and workmanship. Costs were managed to budget. They select excellent subcontractors. We continue to use them for small jobs and repairs for these reasons. We highly recommend Braden Construction whenever we are asked or know someone is looking for a reliable high quality contractor.

We have done three projects with Braden over the years (garage, master suite/bath, 2nd floor remodel; and new kitchen, screen porch, stairs, great room). On budget; on time; professional attention to detail; innovative solutions to complex remodel issues (our house was built in 1897). Could not be happier with the end results.

Braden Construction built my new kitchen. They did an excellent job. They were clean, courteous, had high integrity, did what they said they would and were fun to work with! They completed the project on time and on budget. I would hire them again for sure.

Braden Construction built a writing studio in the woods and did major renovations and repairs to a historic log cabin home on the St. Croix. I found their estimates to be accurate, their customer relations excellent, and their workmanship extraordinary. I've since sold the property but found ownership of a Braden building to be a pleasure. I would hire them again.

We hired Braden Construction to work with us and the architects to completely remodel a forty year old architect designed home. It was a complex, year long project that included analyzing all of the previous systems and equipment, addressing problems, completely renovating three bathrooms, the master bedroom, the kitchen, and changing the structure with three additions. We found Braden’s personal approach very agreeable. There was a large workforce in the home; Braden staff, as well as many subcontractors hired by Braden. All of the people were very pleasant, respectful of the home, and most eager to please. In particular, the on-site project manager that Braden chose for us was wonderful. A skilled workman who seemingly could do everything, he was excellent at oversight and scheduling so the project moved along and the the work was of high quality. At weekly progress meetings we were kept up to date and budgets were always discussed. Like any large construction project, some unexpected conditions were uncovered that needed to be resolved. These affected the budget and the schedule but we felt that we were always presented options and recommendations of how to proceed. Even now, though the project finished in 2011, they are very responsive to our questions and request for further work. It has been a very good relationship.

Braden was our contractor for a new cabin located in within the boundary of a National Park unit and subject to considerable (and appropriate) land use controls for building location, materials and access. They worked seamlessly with our architect to construct a beautiful and well-built cabin. They stayed within the approved budget and a couple of change orders. Their staff was professional to work with and friendly. Since the cabin was completed, we have worked with Braden's customer service organization on a couple of minor issues. They have been responsive and diligent in resolving these issues. We wholeheartedly endorse Andy Braden and his team.
