We hired Gil for a complete kitchen remodel. We are thrilled with the results. Gil was involved in the whole remodel process, coming along side his workers, and constantly communicating with us. Before the work began, he sent us a spreadsheet of when certain people would come to the house and what they would do. He is very organized. The project ended only one week after his expected end date, which is amazing. The workers were all kind, great at what they did, and they cleaned up before leaving. Would we recommend Gil? YES!

My son and I live in Long Beach Calif, while shopping at Costco in Signal Hill I stopped by the home improvement area and because my son was working on remodeling two bathroom and kitchen the salesman suggested that I call Bill up in Salinas Ca which I did. The two bathrooms and kitchen counters are complete and Bill was the one that I credit the excellent job. It was difficult to handle this being 300 miles away but Bill ability to get the job done for us.

We availed Finished Surfaces' services for remodeling the bathrooms in our townhome with Campbell City permit. Gil has an excellent team for complete home remodel. As part of this project, we separated our jack and jill bathroom, added a new commode, renewed the plumbing and changed the tiles on our bathroom walls and floors. All the folks in his team paid minute attention to details right from plumbing to tiling to painting. They exceeded our expectations in this project and we would recommend them for all kinds of remodeling services. Compared to other contractors, Gil provided us with a very reasonable quote and we are very impressed by the end result. He knows quite a few showrooms in the area and can help you get good discounts for the materials. We are extremely delighted to have worked with Gil and his team.

Very professional, easy to work with and always responded to emails and messages. It was a job well done. The plumber and electrician that Gil recommended were also very competent. We had some personal emergency which required travel and Gil and his team accommodated our scheduling needs. I would definitely recommend Gil and his team for any remodeling needs.

Gil has sent his teams to install hardwood flooring in our townhome and to make our bathrooms more accessible for mobility challenges. His teams of workers were highly skilled and meticulous about keeping the work sites clean, since we necessarily were present during the work. Gil is easy to work with and knowledgeable!

We had an amazing experience with our kitchen remodel and in working with Bucktail Builders. Gil and his team were very professional and friendly but more importantly they were excellent tradesmen and hard working, skilled professionals. Our project was finished on time, and the job site was left clean and locked up every day. I felt comfortable knowing our property was in good hands, and every question was answered almost immediately or within the same day it was asked. They went the extra mile when it came to all the little details and made sure our needs were met every step of the way. Remodels are never fun, but we know we were taken care of every step of the way and it cut down on our stress so much. I would recommend Bucktail Builders to anyone looking for a high quality, customer service oriented building team.

One of the best contractors I've come across over the years and I have worked with many. Gil's crew helped with the final stages of an extensive kitchen remodel and countertop fabrication/install. From the outset, Gil was a pleasure to communicate with, thorough, organized, and professional. He pushed to accommodate our timeline and delivered an excellent product at a competitive price point. Can't ask for more. I will certainly be reaching out to Gil again on the next project and give this business my highest recommendations in the construction community.

We needed to remove a 40 year old counter top and replace it with a new one. It seemed all countertop businesses would only work with you if you needed 25 sq. ft. or more of surface. We needed 18 sq. ft. Gil (Sensitive Information Hidden) made our project work. He kept in touch with me through his mother's 90th birthday and a bad cold. When I was SUPER discouraged, Gil made it all work. We have another project upcoming. Gil. will be the first person from whom I will request an estimate for that.
