Bueler, Inc., Design & Remodeling

We have done many projects with Fred: Two Kitchens , house expansions, vaulted ceilings, additions to our home. Fred and his crew are polite professional and try hard to make the process as painless as possible. We will call Fred for our next project.

I am extremely pleased with the results of the addition on my home of a laundry room, bath, & hallway connecting my freestanding garage to the house. Mr. Bueler was very knowledgeable & helpful in choosing the design & products used. He was readily available, returned calls quickly & made frequent site visits to evaluate progress. Keith, the main carpenter on my project, was superb. His excellent skills, attention to detail, cleanliness of the site & friendly manner made the process easier. All other subcontractors involved also did a great job. The new addition blended seamlessly with my existing home. I would highly rcommend Bueler, Inc. for any project you need.

We have used Bueler for over 20 years--complete kitchen remodel; new windows in the entire house; siding; many smaller jobs and routine maintenance. Have always been satisfied with Fred's ideas and workers friendliness and quality of their work. Whenever Bueler could not do the work we needed, Fred would always suggest a specialized company, from roofing to basement water-proofing that also did good work. Latest project was this past summer.

This is the third project that Bueler, inc. has done for me and the second bathroom. Fred listens to what I envision and puts it on paper and eventually I see the results. I have been very pleased with all three projects.

Wonderful experience. Lots of help in the show room with choosing specific items. Creatied workable alternatives when some items were not available. Work in the house was completed in a timely matter. Every day the dust and dirt was removed. Our house cleaners couldn't believe how dust free it was. Carpenter, plumbers and electricians were knowledgable and worked efficiently and quickly. Required a tweak or two at the end which was taken care of immediately. Would contract with Bueler again without hesitation.

Fred Bueler of Bueler Inc. is a stellar individual. We worked with Fred on our house in Creve Coeur and he was a joy to work with. He came in within budget, on time, and his communication and follow-through were exceptional. His construction acumen is unparalleled; we know as we have worked with many contractors! I would highly recommend Fred and his services for any project, large or small. We weren't sure of the design or finishes for our renovation and relied on Fred and his team to make these decisions and selections and were thrilled. From beginning to end our expectations were exceeded.

We bought our beautiful newly rehabbed condo from Mr. Bueler for his full asking price. He used quality materials and the design choices were excellent. The problem is that the workmanship, in the kitchen and other rooms was poorly executed. We purchased the unit 6 months ago and have lived there for 4 months. Before we moved in we noticed there were nails sticking up in the kitchen cabinets and Mr. Bueler had that fixed. When we called after closing to advise him of other problems, he called his real estate agent to complain and his agent called our agent, so we have never bothered him again, but more problem areas have surfaced. We did have an inspector but these are problems that would not easily be seen. The sink is not properly held up in the kitchen and it has come lose from the glue and inadequate supports and is leaking, the molding near the refrigerator has come loose and the light over the sink fell down. Now we have to hire someone to fix this poor workmanship. In addition the back deck was swaying, so it had to be fixed. The rods in the master bedroom closet were hung so low on the top level that you could not possibly hang a shirt or jacket there. For someone who rehabs houses, they should know how much space is needed to hang clothes for double hanging. We used a closet company in the master closet so we ignored that problem. It is a shame because his style is excellent and he is a very nice person, but the quality of the finished product could and should be better for the price. We love our new home, but something needs to be fixed on a regular basis due to the workmanship.
