We hired Steve for our kitchen remodel project in 2018 and were thoroughly satisfied. The project went so well that we then hired him to renovate our 2 main floor bathrooms. All his subcontractors did a great job, including cleaning up at the end of each day. Steve is VERY detail-oriented and knowledgeable about every phase of his projects. He always kept us informed of any changes in the schedule….AND….came in within his original estimate on both of these jobs. We just hired Steve again, in 2021, to replace our wood-burning fireplace with an electric unit, build a raised hearth, tile around the fireplace, install a mantel, and paint over a 2-story oak-paneled wall. Once again, we were very happy with the end result. We would highly recommend Steve Burtis for your renovation projects!!

I was sold on Burtis Contracting when I saw my friend's bath and kitchen remodel they had done. I contacted Steve for an estimate for totally redoing my master bath. He gave me a prompt and thorough itemized estimate for the job. Steve and all of his sub-contractors were friendly, competent, and very easy to work with when I had questions or concerns. I felt comfortable having them in my home. They did a wonderful job! I LOVE my new bath!!!!!!!

Constructed a 10ft.x14ft. porch to the rear of my house. It was roughed in, and I am doing the finish work.

My husband and I hired Mr. Burtis to install 2 Velux Sun Tunnels. His communication was excellent throughout the entire process. He provided a free estimate, and was to the penny with his estimate. His work has made a wonderful difference in providing natural light. We recommend him on every level!!

My husband and I decided to retire to our lake house. As part of this move, we had plans drawn by an architect. Burtis was contracted to execute those plans. The plans included a two car garage, a master suite, including a bathroom, a two story open stair case to the downstairs area. The plan required the demolition of a carport area,an existing bedroom and the removal of a wall and window in the downstairs area. Also, to accomplish this work, an existing entrance to a bedroom, which was connected to the dining room, was enclosed and a new entrance to that bedroom created. A couple items concerning Steve Burtis. He was so knowledgeable about all aspects of the construction. I work from home occasionally and could hear him ask good questions and direct his staff in a caring, yet professional manner. I know when we went to select our flooring etc., the various companies always told us we were in good hands. I think what I liked most was, Steve just did not follow the plans. He involved us and communicated every step of the way. Based on his experience, he has the knowledge to question the plans. We were able to get a high ceiling in our bedroom and a shower that was about a foot larger than originally planned at close to the same cost.
